Hey everybody,
I am doing quite well in my Algiers game and with the exception of a bit of Morocco I have the whole of North Africa under my rule. I have just finished colonising Cape Verde and I am torn between colonising the whole of the African coast to lock it down against Portugal (who sadly have one province which I expected) or to start my run on South America. As Algiers, early to mid game is it really possible to flow trade to Tunis where I collect at the moment? Or if I did go the SA route should I just start to collect in Sevilla, despite Portugal and the Castile/Aragon/Naples union ruling the trade there? If this was pre CN I would probably just do SA for the sake of paininting the map but now I am unsure.
If anybody has any advice on the mentioned strategies or has any other ideas as to how I should proceed, please post below. Thanks
Edit: I am about to annex the southern part of The Mameluks which would allow me to attempt to forcefully vassalize Hedjaz.
