Hey all, I am asking this here as its more a direct question, I had it up in the mod forum but I've always wondered for regular play as well.

Question 1, What variables exactly dictate the assassination chance? Does the intrigue of the target and/or the spymaster matter, does the martial skill of the target matter etc? Does the title or traits of the target matter? The more specific you can get the more helpful thank you, so distinguishing if it's a realm wide bonus (spymaster + wife) or just a personal bonus would be incredibly helpful to me.

Question 2, Same as above, what dictates the base plot chance? Does the intrigue of the target or his spymaster matter for example?

Any help appreciated.

The plot chance and assassionation chance, your intrigue, and their intrigue (state and personal), will affect it. I don't know if anything else also affects it.

I noticed while assasinating my incompetent heirs, that assasination chance is greatly increased if he's in a mentorship to your council member (I use chancellors) who has low intrigue skill and is sent to work in a foreignprovince.
It get as high as 75% success/5% failure whereas he had a 20%/40% at his court and 45%/35% in my court
This obviously works only with people that you can send away, but is an efficient way to get rid of your imbecile heirs.
