Hi. I just realised that I never played a commie path in the game. Do you have suggestions which countries would be interesting for communist revolution?

South Africa with the whole decolonialisation game is the one I found the most appealing.

Most of them, honestly. Some standouts:
- Yugoslavia/Bulgaria for spreading communism to the Balkans
- Communist China for taking over China and war in Asia
- United Kingdom for a relatively early war with America, which feels different from most wars
- America, for getting to play the second American Civil War and then having a freer foreign policy
- Mexico, for spreading the revolution throughout the Americas, then the world
- South Africa, for doing the same in Africa (but harder)
- Soviet Union, because of course

Estonia is also fun. If you there decide to take the independent communism path, you can get belarus without a war from the SU for some PP, unite the baltics and then use the wargoals at the end of the path to conquer scandinavia. There is also an achievement for conquering scandinavia as estonia, but i think its easier done as fascist.
As was mentioned:
- Bułgaria - You click the button and core all Balkans;
- USA - I think commie path is the fastest way to remove these nasty spirits;
- South Africa - cool story about decolonization Africa.
My votes:
- Turkey - in my opinion this is economicaly the strongest path in this focus tree;
- Netherlands - almost the same as fascist, but playing communist Netherlands You can cheese one of achievements

I enjoyed Mexico with Trotskiy, Red Napoleon of America massive and easy conquest, just do it early or try ahistorical game.

Communist Turkey path is nice giving many production and pp boosts, also giving 1 winter expert general. As Turkey is bordering Soviet it will station many troops around that will help you in wars.
And after conquering whole world you can just go Turan to annex Soviets too. Turkey can core whole Kurdish cores in middle east, Azerbaijan-Georgia, some parts of Iran and Syria, whole Turkic regions inside Soviet, hell even some regions north of china.
And can assimilate Hungary, Finland, Estonia for more manpower.

Nobody mentioned Poland.
Not only do you get an interesting civil war, you can do a focus to become a puppet of the USSR...and eventually raise your autonomy...while having your own puppets if you manage to snag Estonia or Latvia back from the Germans.
