i hope they do one final patch that irons out some last bugs and adds one of the features we were still looking for.

after that, they should think about the next project. i'd love it if they carefully re-do a classic game again, modernise the genre, like they did with CiM. transport tycoon would be an obvious example, but openttd is SIGNIFICANT competition and it would probably just split the community, so i'd say that's not a good idea.

:)

I would like to CiM become more robust. It has so much potential and that mainly arises from people all over the world playing CiM the way their city or country runs the metro network. I would also like to see more NYC Content:

3-track lines, (stations either 2 side platforms or 2 island platforms)
http://youtu.be/w1TRXbpyTyI
http://youtu.be/t7EUqgGqnlc
http://youtu.be/KGKpHT5Q_zE

stacked metro stations,

express lines,
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cMIDogQDJNI (outdoor)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iO0tfu-2uyc (subway)

express bus or bus rapid transit with a seperate price and any-door-boarding than the normal bus,
http://youtu.be/eIfcDM5nutg (in new york it is called Select Bus Service)

underground station with two 2 side platforms & ground/elevated station with 1 island platform,
http://youtu.be/Oyyg8VsUPFY
http://youtu.be/oSuI0NzYyQs

also bus operators should not stop at a stop if no one wants to get on or off

- rebalance of manutence of stops would be nice.
more money = more time until the people get angry.
- if possible the company can construct the main building in the city, like in Transport Giant.
more cheap this, more cheap that... was a nice touch in TG. That game had a lot potencial... ¬¬
- day and night cycle
- do we need new cities? new vehicles? I think we have alot of them now, but if come will be nice.

finally december, a long time I dont play this game.
more than free time, a free mind to just sit my ass here and place my tram lines.

These is what stop maintanence means. It is already implemented in the game.

Well CIM is still a fairly young game, having not been out for a full year yet, so I highly doubt there will be a sequel just yet. Perhaps a year or two down the road. I would expect to see CO add a few more cities from around the globe and more content from around the globe ( London, New York, San Francisco, Chicago are all fine examples of cities that they could easily add in the not to distant future ). I wouldn't mind if they attempted to modernize a classic game like railroad tycoon or transport tycoon, in fact I think CO is probably best primed to do it correctly compared to some of the other offerings produced recently.

If it's London, allow us to start around 1860, so we have 3 years to build Farringdon-Paddington cut and cover. (Also, make construction delays and Metro-Land)
If it's New York, allow us to have proper branches with the A-B-C layout, after C it branches off into D and E, but if someone needs to get from A to B or C or whatever way around, he will use whatever train is first in the station.
If it's Chicago, allow elevated metro on 45 degree curves.

I think it's a shame that in recent times is hardly commented upon by CO here on the forum. If there was impressive toward CIM? The previous extensions I have not necessarily blown away and in CIM is still so much potential for improvement. Users have done here in the forum much improvement worthy of Kund, the question remains, will it soon be implemented or was it something that now what we find in CIM. Can only make more maps and vehicles available, the recipe does not have to keep alive CIM.

Please let us know your future plans to regarding CIM.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ich finde es schade, dass in letzter Zeit kaum etwas von CO hier auf dem Forum kommentiert wird. Kommt da noch was beeindruckendes in Richtung CIM?

Sorry, but my english is very bad, so I try to translate it by Google.

Well, might as well suggest a little feature...
Operating over capacity. The current metro trains only have seats, no standing capacity. So after all the seats have filled up, IRL people can still enter the vehicle to stand, however with more and more passengers standing, the vehicle will get less attractive at that point, until people let that train go and wait for the next one...
