Since the persistent events do not work, I thought it might be possible to use Random events instead. I'm talking about "Random = yes" events here, not those with "Random =x" triggers. Random events are not supposed to be logged in the event history either, so they could be used for repeating events.
What would be needed is a way of setting the chance for the random event to happen. Ideally, a 100% chance "random" event could perfectly simulate a recurring, persistent event. It will fire every time its trigger conditions are met.
Could the offset be used, perhaps?
