Ok, now i m angry:

Greece fall in 100 years maximum, byzantine erase around 100 years,

Welcome new times to big blue blub viva francia!!!! ( en espana????? what the hell???) is this th eu3 beginning?

Ok, you change the faction model, but that sucks: Now factions always fails...

muslims overpowered in the east, not enough in the west,

You want to made a game yhat could be historically realistic, ok, i m happy, but never greece could be invade by egypt in 1100, it historicaly impossible!!!!!!!!!!!

You want to make trust that france could be an absolute monarchy in 1100? HRE too, England? Norway???

U really think that muslims call for jihad to conquer greece???

Historically impossipoble...

For the incas, i ve nothing to say, it s amazing, for people who didn t work metal to travel across atlantic ocean... well that stay amazing

but it's absolutly insane to make all kingdms absolute monarchy in 1100,
Iget fun before, but now, u made so many modification that i cannot mod this absolute unplayable game, not funny....

From what I can suss out... you wish this game was a history book. I have good news for you then; you need only travel to your local library to experience history exactly as it happened.

I've never understood why people on this forum want the game to play out history for them. Of course, an accurate historical model is needed from a starting point but as soon as I click to unpause, I want the characters and nations to evolve in unpredictable ways. Obviously, there are balancing issues but for me, no two games ever seem to play out the same way. Some playthroughs are duds, others are amazing. Surely, that is the nature of the game.

I'm inclined to agree. There should be a somewhat accurate map makeup at the start date and form there throw the history book out the window except for maybe a few flavour events. I like to make my own history and see interesting map setups and dynasties as the game progresses, it is part of the fun. This is part of the reason why I hate how the recent buffs to the Normans in 1.07 have resulted in Norman England in every game I have played since the patch.

I don't think the game is too bad. Things change, sure. But isn't that supposed to happen? Sometimes I feel as if certain players want the entire game world to remain as it was, and that only they can influence what happens.

I've never had the game play out twice the same. In my current game, the HRE first went to high CA, just to drop back to limited. England even went to absolute CA, but then seized to exist. (I still don't exactly know what happened. Must have had something to do with the last ruler being a woman.) That what once was England is now divided between 5 dukes or so. Castille has survived the muslims and reconquered much of iberia, but is now in a bloody civil war, while Leon has recently split off and is invading the weak Castille to (re)gain some of its de jure territory.

All this is not historical, but it could have happened. Sure, not in one day. But the game has been going for about 170 years now. A lot can happen during that time. Our world today would have been totally different if small things turned out just slightly different than they did.
