I wasn't sure how exactly to word the title.

Basically, people talk about 'make sure you have 50 organisation', or 'X amount of soft attack', etc etc.

What is classed as 'good'? Is there no max number to each stat? For example, I have a fighter with 24 air attack.

Is that 24/X?

Is 24 good?

Could it in theory go up by an infinite amount (if you were allowed 500 canon modules) or is there a hard ceiling for each stat?

Some game veterans would argue that 40 Organization is a good floor for the stat. Generally, any unit with lower than 40 org is considered generally inefficient, though there are exceptions if you know what you're doing.

Secondly, combat widths beyond a count of 40 is generally considered poor design. There are combat width guides, tactics, and suggestions for specifics, but I personally don't like to break 25.

From my modding experience, there doesn't seem to be a hard limit for unit stats.
Also, let me expand a bit. This doesn't mean that you can ignore issues with overflow in calculations or that, depending on the specific formula, gains on a stat stop being effective at some point due to diminishing returns.
But the numbers can nominally rise as much as you want.

its doesn't exists, and we doesn't need it.
ur "cap" is divisions overstacking penalties, combat width and supply.
also your production, in theory is good have a jet fighter with 4 x2 cannons(60+ air atack), but being able to build it, is another history...

what ur question is about, in really is about "minimum" not a 'cap', yes theres no also a oficial "minimum", but theres a "average" stat of your enemies troops...

under 40 org ur probably will run out of org to quickly, specifically fighting a "tile" with reserve troops.

except if ur template have lots of soft atack, then u don't need care about a minimum org. but 30 is red alert... the AI template almost have 50+ org.

600~700 soft atack is a overkill to almost to the end game......, but these "statistics' doesnt all apply to multiplayer.. so u will get used to get the difference when watching theses guides.. sometimes theyre talking about overpowered stuff to be used in a multiplayer game.
