Yes, there are difference Ideologies in the game.

The only difference I've seen is that Democratic countries can claim war goals at 50% world tensions.
While Fascist and communist contries both are pretty much indenticaly the same. Both can make war goals ar 0% world tensions and both can declare wars. Those 2 Ideologies are pretty much indenticaly the same, only diffrence is that they have different names and you know, dislike each other, thats all.

I still dont get what are the actual differences between the Ideologies, mind anyone explain me please?

Short story long:
Democratic countries are highly limited in their actions until WT hit the thresholds, can't force country to became a puppet and makes WT lower with guarantee. Also they can't create wargoals against countries who never done something bad (generate WT).
Communist countries can make lost country to became communist, can't puppet, generate less WT by their actions. So with communists playing as intended you can expect wars for puppet states.
Facist countries are EVIL (or, speaking by code comments, "#evil!"), so they generate more WT with, well, everything, and justify new wars FAST when in war.

At the moment there isn't a large number of differences. Democracies cannot puppet countries and likewise cannot justify a war against someone unless that country has been bad. Fascists and Communists, on the other hand, can. This is supposed to be overhauled with the next DLC. \

Democratic countries are more restricted in their economic and conscription laws than fascist or communist countries. Democratic countries are limited to partial mobilisation and limited conscription while at peace, while communist and fascist countries can go to war economy and service by requirement. Democracies are also limited to export focus laws at best, while communist and fascist countries can go to limited exports.

In-game there is not such distinction, but centrism is sub-ideology of Non-Aligned.
IRL democracy isn't ideology, it's political organization; democratic nations can be rightish or leftish.

Anyway, the reason why I ask this because I want to Re-design and Rename the Ideologies/goverment types by creating a new mod for that.

I want to change the Democractic, Non-Allighted, Fascism, Communism to a more realistic Ideological/Goverment system one:

- Left Wing Regime (Communism)
- Totalitarian Regime (Fascism)
- Democratic Regime (Democracy or Non-alighted)
- Monarchist (New Ideology)

They will be split to sub-Ideologies, while countries with same Ideology will have +20 in releationships, but with different sub-Ideology will have -15 in releationships.
When switching to Left Wing Regime, a.k.a Communism, you get an even where you choose which type of communism you want (National spirit/Idea), each of them will consist with their own bonuses and drawbacks:
"Socialism! It will succed here, where it failed in other places" (Soviet Union, Mongolia, Communist China, Sinkiang and Tanu-Tuva will have this by default).
- Bonus: Puppeting cost reduction and Partisan Effect.
- Drawback: Division Training time, National Unity.
"Revolutionary! Communism must spread across the globe!"
- Bonus: Ideological influence on other countries, Ideology drift defence.
- Drawback:
"National Bolshevism! We must keep with our traditions."

Switching to Totalitarian Regime will grant you event with those choices:
"National Socialism (Nazism)! Our aryan race will succed!" (Germany by default)
- Bonus: Political Power gain, Land annexation cost.
- Drawback: National Unity, Ideological drift.
"Fascism! For glory of the country!" (Italy by default)
- No bonuses or drawbacks.
"Nationalism! We need to keep our Nation strong." (Nationalist Spain by default)
- Bonus: National Unity, Ideology drift defence.
- Drawback: Puppeting Cost,

Democratic Regime:
"Conservatism! We dont abuse freedom." (UK by default)
- Bonus: Ideology drift defence,
"Liberal! Freedom is our priority." (France by default)
"Neutrality. We are pacifistic country." (All Non-alighted countries, exept for Saudi Arabia and Iran.)

Monarchist, well you cannot convert your country to Monarchist Ideology if you already have different Ideology. but here are the types:
"Empire! We rally on strong country with traditions on top priority." (Japanece Empire, Iran and Saudi Arabia by default)
"Kingdom! A king to lead our country is enough." (All African, Middle east and Asian Non-allighted countries)

I dont have Ideas about bonuses for more Ideologies, and also because I'm kinda lazy, so your suggestions would be welcome.

I dont see anything messed. And I want to make my own mod with those new Ideologies, not asking to change them.
Oh, of course, be my guest. But, you see, you arbitrary moved your system into four categories, with one of them describing governmental system (democracy), second describing desired governmental system (monarchism), third - political system (totalitarianism), and fourth - political values (leftfish). It looks kinda messed for me.
For example, where do you plan to put Belgium or Sweden?

I had alternative thoughts on making different Goverment parties... But I think it will require complete redesing of the political system in the game...

Dictatorship (You choose between Communist or Fascist Ideologies)
Republic (Democracy or Non-allighted)
Monarchy

But I know -.- It's still messy.

If you really want somebody to explain democracy as a real-world concept/practice, I suggest seeking information somewhere other than gaming forums.
To be honest with how unbelievably smart people are on these forums, I wouldn't be surprised, or unexpected for people to explain it. People are genuinely nice and smart on these forums. They happy to share their knowledge with other people.

Since noone's mentioned neutrality..

Neutrality on paper is the worst ideology, and it's the ideology you're kind of "supposed" to switch out of (although some DLC countries have neutrality paths, i.e. hungary in DoD). Neutral countries can't puppet or convert other countries to their ideology, although they can release states they have conquered as neutral puppets. They can't justify wargoals at all under 50% world tension. On the flipside, they convert faster to other ideologies. They also have one advantage in that they generate extremely low world tension, which means democratic countries will generally react less to them and see them as less of a threat.

Democracies suck.

Not the nations, but the idealogy restraints.

Like what the hell do they gain by lowering WT- and they can't mobilize their nation for ages.

I'm not complaining, it makes sense- but the ideology is bad- and intended to be. Fascism and Communism are unrestrained- besides getting guarantee blocked. NA is the middle- semi-restricted but the Allies won't block you as much.
