Cities in Motion 3
- Extensive public transport (Bus, Tram, Subway, commuter railways(maybe prebuild to add challenge), ferry, O-Bus (with possibility to change one lane next to the Catenary);
- custom, asymmetric roads with adjustable crossings and traffic lights;
- Pedestrian infrastructure (over-/underpasses, placing of traffic lights or zebra crossings);
- procedual building generation (Not necessarily live ingame, but pre generated in the editor // only necessary to close gaps that were made by the player);
- every citizen with own life;
- additional cargo transport(Mass transport from A to B and package delivery);
- Public transport without fix circled radii in favor for a realistic commuter behavior;
- Connections to neighboring cities via card edge

While I'm sure that's a worthy project, I'm not sure that's really related to the citybuilder genre?

But I am eager (for less than selfless reasons) to know what the devs/CO might be interested in themselves. *shrugs* Who knows- maybe they nourish a burning, unrequited passion for Q*bert in their spare time.

I was just providing an outside the box idea.

If it has to be these kind of tycoon games I definitely recommend railroad tycoon. Or maybe airline/airport tycoon.

A type of The Sims, but going back to pick up the Sims 1 (and to some extent Sims 2) original concept of trying to model human personalities and interpersonal relationships realistically, rather than going down EA's path of turning them all into clownish charicatures of themselves. Also with real 2015 graphics, not dumbed down to run on a tablet or whatever EA were going for as a spec this time :rolleyes:

Or, a hospital, but with reasonably realistic illnesses rather than bloatyhead and elvis syndrome :D

I think there are 10 game ideas for each of the developers here and probably in all possible genres :D My personal wish is continuing Cities: Skylines and Cities in Motion in the future and maybe make some awesome simulation games about amusement parks and ponies and maybe a historical city builder at some point.

And I have a plan to making all this happen: So if all the people in the world get a copy of Cities: Skylines we will be able to grow Colossal to a super mega simulation game development corporation making all the games we have ever wanted to. Until that happens we just need to work on one game at a time...

I would like to see Colossal Order become a new Maxis :)

Games I would like to see:
- Cities: Skylines 2 (Best city builder ever)
- The Cims (Fixes everything that is wrong with The Sims)
- Cities in Motion 3 (Cities: Skylines innovations brought to CiM)
- Cities: Evolution (Historical AND Futuristic city builder)
- Cities: Driving (Nice looking driving simulator where you can import your CSL game saves and drive around in your cities.)
- Dozens of other SIM-games ;)

Personally, I'd like an Industry Tycoon game that starts in the mid 1800's to the present day with basic to complicated production chains.

An updated Industry Giant II that allows for single player, multiplayer on the same map or indeed interconnected online regions

Yes please. Also, keep those little movies when you get a new vehicle and all the other things, hell even add more. I always loved those.

This means again like in CIM2 you have no resources to work on CSL after release because you already work on a new game? Eiyee...

CIM3 would be nice, and more extensible then CIM1 please!

I'm pretty sure a super mega simulation game development corporation would employ more than 13 people :) And we must remember that as a developer we always don't have a choice as we must respect our publishers wishes as well as the community's. Luckily in most cases these are the same thing!

Ponies - Hahaha I love it. CO you guys pretty unique and I like your style. Keep up the great work. I have really enjoyed CIM 1 and 2 and just cannot wait for Skylines. Maxis has stumbled in a big way and this is your chance to earn the Super Mega Simulation Development Company crown. I wish you success as this is my absolute favorite gaming genre.
