What am I doing wrong with the battle planner?

I'm not understanding the battle planner and how it relates to borders. If I want a army group to command my armies on the Western front, how do I get it to assign armies to the borders of the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg and France? Or is it still not working that way yet?

Google Feedbackgaming's youtube channel and look for a recent guide he posted about how to use the new system with field marshals. Easier to see than explain.

For each country border you still need to do individual orders unless you are at war.

Not yet. Been playing this game since it came out, and just learned something new!
