In 1820, we had 3 million habitants, 50% negroes (with an african nationality, from the west coast), 25% indian (from 2 major nationalities: Tupi and Guarany) from those indian a good part was also slave. And the rest 25% was from portuguese, BRAZILIANS, and some other europeans, some dutch in NE among others.
And to straight even more they formed 2 distinct political parties de liberals and conservadore (Brasilians vs Portuguese)
In 1870, we had 14,3 million habitans, granted by the government effort to support european immigration (italy, polish and germans) and also came some japanese later on. They established residence on SE and S regions of the country.
Since now I call my fellow brazilian to reinvidicate a BRAZILIAN nationality.
