I find it both amazing and astounding, that a game I bought 4 years ago, almost half a decade ago, is still being developed and improved by the day, with a community to match the game as ever vibrant and entertaining. The developers have added so, so much to this game over the years, and I very much thank them for their continued support of this much beloved game, and I'm not going to lie I will be very sad when they eventually have to stop on this game I have wasted away 1000s of hours of my life on.

FOR GODS SAKE PARADOX PLEASE ADD A GOD DAMN RANDOMISE NAME BUTTON ON THE CHILD NAMING SCREEN BEFORE YOU FINISH DEVELOPMENT OR I SWEAR I WILL SACRIFICE MYSELF TO ODIN!

Say I'm playing as the King of Ireland, I really wanna give my children cool and memorable names instead of "MacMwyejdhsiabdilpmn IV", but I really cannot be arsed to find nice names by going through a huge list of names with a toothpick on some Irish baby names site every time my man-whore King creates another bloody bastard.

Pls paradox, if I could have one feature before either I or CK2 dies, this is it.

Well, I guess I could just keep pumping out children until I get one with a name I like, but that would take a lot of work for my poor King and isn't particularly efficient (that's a lot of 'suspicious circumstances' I'd have to create for the unwanted ones). So yes, basically just the same as the randomise name button in the ruler designer.

This would be great. Sometimes I want a randomized name but don't like the one it gives me... being able to cycle through a few until I get one I like would be swell.

I want this, & also a way to take notes on people who you put a star on. Sometimes I star them then an hour later I see their name on the list but hell if I remember why I wanted to keep up with them.

Especially since stars are inherited, IIRC. Make it so that your notes on a star are updated to include that the original person you starred died.

mmm I think the lists are not large enough, I believe that a randomize button would make you cycle through the names too quickly and would end up with pretty much the same names always.

On that note. I bet the name lists can be modded really easily, it would be a matter of looking for good sources of appropriate names.
