"Westernization" Decisions for Muslim Nations.

How about a decision for Muslim nations that own constantinople to get to the Ottoman Tech Group? Constantinople would have to be free of nationalism and converted to the religion of said nation. Another requirement could be owning a few provinces in either Greece or Anatolia, or for the Ottomans to have their capital outside of Europe, or no provinces in Europe at all.


However this seems to me like the most plausible and balanced. (You have to beat the ottomans first, effectively replacing them, so their tech group makes sense) there are other possibilites that come to mind, like Barcelona or Madrid in the same way. Perhaps owning the Andalusian region? Or the Al-Andalus decision moving you to Ottoman tech?

I realize the decision could be chained with the westernization from Vienna or Prague. And i think this would not be too implausable or unbalanced, but perhaps a 50-year timer must be set before the real westernization decision (the one from Prague, Danzig, Vienna) can be taken.

That's what i was thinking. Besides, why couldn't an empire that reaches the height that the the Ottomans historically reached take their position? Possibly the tech group change could be limited to countries with Humanist or Innovative ideas.

I was thinking of something like Hudavendiger, Constantinople, Edirne all at once, or maybe Moscow, Novgorod and Riga? It shouldnt be easy, and really reserved for empires that are close to Europe and can integrate their knowledge into their societies.
