Returning cores to Non-European powers by other Europeans seems weird. I can't think of a single example where one European power made another return a colony to the natives. Take it for themselves sure! but give it to a people barely considered better than animals or children at the time? Hope paradox can somehow fix that, as it currently stands one bad war and you can kiss the entirety of your colonial empire goodbye at 1% per province, with victorious player not eating any BB to use an old term.
