You mean Richard the Usurper, he imprisoned his nephews, said they were bastards and took the throne from Edward V. I don't think he killed the princes but he is equally as guilty because they disappeared in the tower, under his watch/ care.

Well polac54 at this point the house of Plantagenet is not really foreign anymore;)

However another foreigner could take the throne probably: I think if Henry VI and Edward of Westminster should unhappily suffer an "accident" Charles the Bold stepping in and uniting England with Burgundy would be very interesting

@ernst_earnestin terms of proper succession, the line of the kings of portugal came before charles. in terms of power/ability, the guy could barely dominate burgundy. the chance of him succeeding in england is about as likely as that of the portugese.

ive always thought that the de la poles were actually the most interesting among the claimants. they were maybe most successful social climbers in medieval england. the family came from the middle class. one of their ancestors was the granddaughter of geoffrey chaucer. and yet within 5 generations they became the yorks' heirs to the throne. they were also related to the tudors, as chaucer's wife was a sister of katherine swynford.
