I think Day 4/Night 4 is the place to look for the Smokemonster.
Day 4 saw oky the Smokemonster groupie lynched. We don't know if the Smokemonster was aware that oky was his groupie but interestingly enough 3 of the 4 oky voters are still alive amongst us:
I was the first to cast the vote (but also around at the deadline and made posts but didn't change the vote)
jonti cast the second vote on oky tieing (tying?) him with several others.
the_hdk cast the fourth vote when oky was in the lead with 3 votes and the runner up had 2 votes.
Assuming the Smokemonster knew his groupies (which isn't necessarily true) I say this clears jonti, makes me unlikely and the_hdk gets at least some plus points.
Everyone seems to believe walrus is the seer and seers can't be turned so he should be cleared too.
Another interesting fact is that Night 4 was one of the no-kill nights for the Smokemonster (the other was Night 0) and guess who didn't vote or post that day? Yes, Lemeard (now Jopi).

Just to be safe let's look at Day 6 when Slinky the other smokie groupie got lynched.
jonti didn't vote so no help there.
I voted first the priest, then made a case against trespoe/Slinky and got them up in the vote lead. I voted Slinky myself but made a last minute change to trespoe since Slinky got the lead "too easy"... trespoe thought my actions that day didn't make sense for a Smokemonster but I'm not so sure.
Lemeard actually got Slinky ahead of trespoe 4:2 about 1 1/2 hour before deadline. He could have made a TIE but didn't. Not like him but OTOH he did vote the right candidate. It's a bit like with the_hdk's vote on oky, maybe a wolf would pile on a seemingly doomed cultist to gain credibility later on?

But if Lemeard knew the priest after day 2-3 (E_L said he PMed jonti and Lemeard when he got contacted by reis91) then why did he wait until Night 8 to eat him? That makes no sense! Sure, he might not want to eat him immediately so he could infiltrate a JL but Night 8!? And the same argument can be used for jonti.
But in that case it has to be the_hdk!? But he felt so like a goodie this time around...
