There is ofc a spotlight on you from the moment you discover you are wolf. In the same way there is a spotlight on closet homosexuals in high school - even though noone brings up the subject, they have a need to call other people out, in order to shift any possible potential eventual attention from themselves to someone else.

There isn't. I have played enough games to blend in perfectly as a wolf.
And what is all this about homosexuals? Are werewolves gay or something?

You want me hanged for killing someone who I had NO WAY of knowing was the Van Helsing Seer (I didn't even know what that was when I did it) as a public show of your own goodie-ness.

No, I want you hanged because you took a rocket launcher, aimed it squarely at the village and pulled the trigger.

It means that either you are like Mr G on crack, or you are a wolf.

Which just reinforces in my mind the notion of you actually a baddie going out of your way to make everyone believe that you are a goodie.

What an inverted pyramid of piffle.

With every new post of yours, the more you sound like a wolf to me. Keep it up.

Its the best analogy I could come up with ;)
Give a newbie a red button and he may well push it - I did. My bad. Its unfortunate for me that it hit the 'wrong' person, at the time I was certain I was doing the right thing and had no idea I would suffer reprisals because of it. If I had known better I wouldn't, but being completely new to what isn't the simplest of games I made a mistake.

Being a wolf or Mr G on crack are much more extreme and thus more unlikely explanations. Occam ;)

Well you know is he right on that. If he had hit a Wolf or Cultist, we would all be singing his praises. Rather in this case, we are pounding on him because he hit what was likely the last thing in this game the wolfs have to really worry about.

Everything else might get a wolf, but none of them can do better then 1 wolf.

No, the case against Tornadoli hasn't anything to do with Velasco being a goodie or a baddie. It has to do with Tornadoli trying to steer the lynch away from a bandwagon (in a suspicious way). trespoe made the original argument and it is somewhere back in the thread if you want to look it up. Now, I feel the counterbandwagon on him is gaining momentum a bit too fast so

unvote Tornadoli, vote Slinky
But I can't think of anything less suspicious that trying to stop a bandwagon.

I am having problems wrapping my head around this move.

You go out and clearly state that XYZ are wolves, now lets assume that you are not making it up. How would you know this for certain on day 2?

Well, first of all, you will have to be the Stewardess. I don't expect there to be two seers in this game, but there might be. However it is highly likely there is a Stewardess and had a hit either night 1 or 2. So that is one wolf.

You would also have to be Paranoid, and been scanned by the Sorcerer to have a second wolf sided person, and you would also need to have the Psychic trait to find the third wolf sided person.

Or does the Psychic trait reveal all roles of everyone to that person? ...

You know, I bet you might be the Psychic Stewardess, that would explain why you know all the wolves, as you would know everyone roles, but why in the world would you hunt a seer if you knew who the wolfs where?

The final issue here is that you voted for someone that you claim is not a wolf, who are you trying to save in that TIE?
You take things too seriously, when people call someone a wolf they are rarely 100% sure, they just do it to get them lynched, distract attention or as a joke.
Anyway Velasco did not ''clearly state'' they were wolves, he said he suspected them

My main suspicion comes from Jonti-h's unparalleled overreaction towards my blunder

He has a right to. Jonti got leaderlynched by OrangeYoshi a few games back because jonti said he was a hunter. Jonti was terribly angry at that back then, especially since at that particular juncture in time it tipped the scales towards the wolves winning the game rather heavily.

I am getting really tired of stuff like this happening in games. Idiot villagers seems to be the number one reason villages get completely steamrollerred by wolves. If we don't try to put a stop to it somehow this trend will continue.

Frankly marty EL's post is so convoluted that I wonder what on earth he's smoking. If I hadn't seen similar posts from him in the past I'd wonder if he's a wolf trying to be inventive :p

Also, EL, you may want to consider that it's not very wise to publicly say that you believe someone to be an important goodie scanner - if you're right and the wolves believe you you may just have ended up getting that person killed ..

Wait, what? Trying to stop a mindless bandwagon on a probable villager and therefore getting a productive day is suspicious? Look how much material we gathered already!
I'm agreeing with you here, ffs:rolleyes:

I said trying to stop a bandwagon wasn't suspicious, quite the reverse, in response to johho's post which heavily implied that it was

Considering how close Velasco is to getting himself lynched, I honstly think that he could come out and say that he was a Seer and the GM saying that he gave us two seers to play with in this game, and we still might lynched him.

I don't see any sane wolf going for him right now. You go for those you can't lynch, not someone who actions are causing people to go WTF and try and lynch him.

It's not about Velasco per se. I've seen you publicly suspect people of being a goodie scanner before in other games and I felt I should point this behaviour out. It's not healthy for the village when wolves figure out who the scanners are, you know :p

Eternaly_Lost said:

Of course there is.
If the bahaviour in question clearly indicates that the suspected newbie has not in fact applied their brain when deciding upon their actions then it's idiot behaviour. Doesn't matter how new that person may or may not be to the game :p

@Velasco: Leaderlynched = when a leader uses their power to force the village to lynch someone who would not normally have enough votes to get lynched.

edit:btw: Gief count?

Thanks for the explanation.

I understood 1st in command to mean like, a leader of the wolf pack, hence why I thought killing him was a GOOD and CLEVER move. Evidently, not so much.
