I think I prefer the Lite games more, I can see patterns better than the big games, especially when there are two or more wolf packs. That makes for at least a three sided conflict.

Anyway, I am torn between voting Xeno who Ironhead had hinted at, or von Loch Ness who seemed intent on voting AVN, and now Xeno.

So I will go with a third, just to see what happens because there has been little to analyze with the "chain letter" days.

Vote Cymsdale

EDIT: von Loch Ness's behavior seems normal, just pushy. Sherpas don't like pushy people. I am content to wait and see what happens with Xeno before making a judgment on vLN.

I would suggest reading the thread before you post. I asserted on multiple occasions yesterday that we should lynch both xeno and AVN.
The former because of Ironhead's possible cryptic message, the latter because of his ridiculous decision to start a fake counter-PM against our Seer. It's not my fault that AVN was insane and tried to get our seer killed.

Edit: I wonder if I5 may have had an apprentice? The fact that AVN was already one this early in the game means that he may have started the game as the Priest's apprentice, which means the Seer probably started with an apprentice as well. On the other hand, I wonder why Ironhead would hurry to get his scan info out in the open if he had an apprentice. And of course Yakman sounds pretty disturbed about the village's chances already, so maybe we're already doomed and without a Seer :(

It made perfect sense to lynch AVN last round. I am suspicious of anyone who was against doing so because they could be a wolf using it as an opportunity to appear as a smarter brand of villager.

Calamity struck me as an odd vote because she said she didn't suspect AVN but gave no real reason why.

Agreed. Which is why I did a third option.

AVN set himself up with the fake chain letter.

I don't get the feeling you are a WERELLAMA , I mean... WEREYAK. Just being your normal pushy self. You act like King Henry from "The Lion in Winter", the original movie, not the remake.

I'm just trying to attract a little wolf attention by being an obvious goodie, then get myself hunted, sub in later as a wolf and win :D
Sadly, the wolves probably remember my Consumption trait and won't bother to hunt me, which means I need to get myself lynched instead :p

Calamity struck me as an odd vote because she said she didn't suspect AVN but gave no real reason why.

Or you know, they could of been people who knew that having a mass bandwagon on one person is of no real benefit to the village in the long run?

Regarding my vote, I didn't have any real reason beyond my thinking other than a vague hunch to suspect AVN's innocence, so I can't really defend myself there. However there were plenty of other people who didn't give reasoning for either voting or not voting AVN, so what makes mine more suspicious than the others?

AVN's actions could make sense IF...

-I5 knew he was doomed... Why not go fishing and see if the "we're yaks" are just as limited in IQ as the village seems to be. If an I5 bandwagon materialized, it would provide some useful data. The question becomes how was that known, or if was possible to be known. Also begs the question why wasn't there an I5 bandwagon. Inside info would have to be involved to negate the village not hanging it's own seer, meaning some kind of almost substantial JL would have to be in place. Some body would have to take a chance to reach a few to change a vote...

-There was the fulfillment of the remotest possibility that AVN was known to the "main-i-yaks" and sought to make his going down in flames worth something... Again this begs the question of how/when this was known. It also calls into question just what it is someone was seeking to gain insight on. Making yourself so obvious a target provides little info. If anything it provides a perfect hiding place.

-AVN was a Trojan horse. Entirely dependent on how established any village powers are... If the Seer knows he's doomed, why not run up the flag and see who salutes...? All he needs is a "volunteer", and it's well known just how much the Brits love volunteers to go over the wall for Queen and Country and all that... (who wouldn't die for Freddy and Co....?) Begs the question are the persons involved capable of such craftiness...? It is an unlikely scenario, but given the deviousness of the chain letter and it's not so devious edited version, it's not out of the realm of possible. (plus I thought of it, meaning anyone else could...)

-AVN was really lower realm bent on making himself the perfect example of what not to do as a potential JL member... Which begs the question... WTF???

Cryptic references to Xeno aside, I am inclined to wonder about those lurking in the shadows myself. I am also wondering if I5 had an apprentice. It would make this one incredibly underhanded and sneaky way to falsely boost "We Were Yaks" confidence levels, and maybe get them distracted as the unknowns continued to gather intel unfettered.

All of this grandiose hypothesis aside, for now I feel I have to stay with a somewhat known quantity...

- Very unlikely in this game with the time that had passed at that point and as the evil side has no dedicated scanners I'm guessing it was a 'knee-jerk' reaction from randakars pack ala WWL CXXIII.

-Most likely IMHO

Oh Man...

Why do I get the feeling I'm in the battle of Bunker Hill, but against an Army of Rastafarians...

My commanding officer just went up and down the line on the morning of the battle...

He pats us on the back, encourages us. Gets us ready...

Then they start coming up hill... Everyone tenses up...

All that smoke...

And then I hear him yell...:

"Don't fire till you see the white's of their eyes lads...!"

Doomed...

We're all doomed I tell ya...!

:p
