You may have been disguising yourself but this....

I spied on Euro (And I did send you this PM yesterday I5, why do you not admit it) and got the same ping on him as Jonti (so I knew your "scan" claim was legit...

is certainly not rubbish.

I knew that from the very beginning of the game. Are you actually suggesting that because of that fact we should throw away all scan results from spies? It's still a piece of evidence and I don't see why you're even pretending otherwise.

I've been looking through your list and first off, thanks for putting it together. You get quite another picture from having all of one person's quotes at one place instead of having to try to remember who said what, especially this early in the game when there are so many players around.

Thank you for your analysis.

Hax - like I said before he is playing like Olaus Petrus used to do and like the_hdk still does. It looks like he isn't paying attention which usually gets the wolves less likely to hunt you but also since you never take sides in the votes the village usually ignores you for quite some time. It is actually not a bad survival strategy and the_hdk has on occasions been the last wolf standing using this technique. I hate people using this though because it is impossible to tell what side they are on and they never help whatever side you are on.

Maybe I am just suspicious of people who sign up and then seem to not even actually play the game. Just wanting to survive the game doesn't seem like a good enough excuse to join.

hebelcan - claimed to be a Master of Disguise but did it in a way that invited important goodie to blow their cover to find out. Suspicious yes but it was so obvious no goodie scanner would fall for it so maybe it was just a bad choice of words? Also all MoDs we've seen so far has been villager spies but maybe that is just random (un)luck that we haven't found any baddie MoDs?

It seems that most MoDs are also SA, so he could have been trying to get some info that way and even if he is a MoD it doesn't clear him, the rules clearly state that MoD may be a baddie. We have not seen any yet but we have only gotten two out of maybe ten baddies.

humancalculator, J. Passepartout - nothing much to go on. I don't really see why you got suspicious on either of them but then again none of them gives me and perticular goodie vibes either.

humancalculator is the only one on my list who voted for someone who then got hunted, which helps his defense as why vote for someone you know will be hunted anyway but why the ForzaA vote? I am not entirely sure on J. Passepartout, but nothing that says goodie really, he did vote for jonti-h fairly early but may be from the other pack.

Jamie550, Jensthemens - I hadn't even noticed they were in the game until you pointed them out. They certainly are good at laying low which I guess is what a baddie would like to do.

See - Hax.

Nautilu - I'm a bit surprised to find him here. I had him as one of the first "likely goodies" but his last post didn't make much sense so now I am not so sure.

My reasoning was he voted two goodies, then voted jonti-h when it was appearent he would die anyway, maybe after jonti-h told his pack to save themselves? From then on has voted EUROO7 and is basically trying to completely discredit Ironhead 5.

oky - You've got to be joking!? If I had to pick one player to trust in that would be him.

I don't see that. What was the evidence against Lemeard when he first started voting for him? There seemed to be better candidates at the time to me anyway and his votes were not explained at all.

snoopdogg - He has been very lightheartedly playing with baddie tells all through the game. I doubt he would do that if he had an important role (I'm basing this on myself because I have fooled around like that when I didn't have a role that was too important for my team - like villager/cultist). OTOH I didn't outright say he was innocent now that he started gaining votes. Sometimes that is an admission of guilt.

As you say, may be he is just playing lightheartedly. I for one don't take claims of innocence to have much weight anyway.

walrus - has been behaving odd, yes. I know I had my eyes on him earlier but now I can't really remember why.

Did you ever notice the tendency of wolves to vote for themselves?

I think you accused more than half of the remaining players so I'm happy to see I didn't make it onto your list but I am a bit surprised to see that EURO isn't on it either.

I did look at both of you but decided that neither of you had much evidence against you. There are two or three others that I am mildly suspicious of but evidence is lacking.

In my analysis votes for Lemeard by other wolf candidates did not count for much as Lemeard may not have been in contact with any pack.

Also, there seems to be quite a bit of metagaming going on, which is basically to be expected for the first one or two lynches because there really isn't much else to go on but should have died off well before now. On the other hand the set-up of this game doesn't really make what evidence we do get from scans all that reliable as the person may be MoD. EUROO7 may often be extremely successful at misleading the voting, and may be doing so this time but as of yet I have seen no decent evidence against him.

is certainly not rubbish.
On the one hand we have THE_SPLIT the spy's scan saying EURO is a wolf. On the other hand we have Ironhead the spy claiming he had 5 spy scans all saying EURO was clean. Since the spy scans are wrong 20 percent of the time it is not that unlikely we get different spy scans on him.

The problem as I see it is that if EURO was disguising as a wolf the whole time (which we don't know if he did or even claimed to be) then we should have mostly wolf scan results and the odd villager. And if EURO really is a Master of Disguise he could really be anything but why would a baddie disguise himself as a wolf?

Now we don't really know if I5 really had 5 spy scans on EURO or if he knew some other way (he himself had seerish powers for instance) but he sure was convinced EURO was clean. I don't recall Ironhead ever being had but maybe he is rusty for not playing for a while and there is a first time for everything so yeah maybe.

Glad to see at least people are making an effort at independent analysis.

To those that still just vote, even if it's for someone suggested to be suspicious, just because your bits and pieces of analysis and intuition may not be much, it's still better than nothing.

Well, it seemed the safest way to solve the THE_SPLIT/Ironhead dispute without risk losing a scanner but maybe that is why I thought oky was a goodie because I voted Lemeard too. ;)

Yes but if you read the Ironhead's first PM exchange you see that EURO had told Ironhead that he was posing as a wolf even before THE_SPLIT contacted Ironhead.

Let's just say that these new roles are very confusing and leave it at that.

And I should really start making my mind up about who to vote for.
