It is possible that THE_SPLIT wasn't scanned.

Even if THE_SPLIT wasn't scanned (and thats one big f**king if), the seer had already told him his identity, he would have got hunted anyway if THE_SPLIT was a wolf, so he had nothing to lose by telling THE_SPLIT whom he had scanned

New theory gotten from Marty's post:

J-L worked it much like a fake wolf JL. He contacted an unscanned player (THE_SPLIT) and told him that he was in the JL, but not that he was the seer. THE_SPLIT, thinking that this may be a wolfish trick contacted Cyms and told him that he (THE_SPLIT) was in the JL, and to out AOK. That way, if AOK wasn't a wolf, THE_SPLIT might be eaten, but at least someone in the chain would know the identity of the initial fake JL'er.

That theory makes more sense than the last one anyway.

So what is your theory, huh? Whatever it is, if it has me as being a wolf in it, it is wrong.

My theory:

1: The seer Jacob-Lundgren scanned THE_SPLIT, scan result comes back saying THE_SPLIT is a villager, or some such variation
2: The seer Jacob-Lundgren then scanned AOK.11, scan result comes back saying AOK.11 is a wolf, or some such variation
(Note stages 1 and 2 are interchangeable)
3: The seer Jacob-Lundgren instructed villager THE_SPLIT to contact a random player, and tell him to out AOK.11 the wolf
4: THE_SPLIT the vilager contacts Cymsdale the (at this stage unknown) villager, withholding the seer's name, and tells him to out AOK.11, on the basis that THE_SPLIT is the seer and AOK.11 has been scanned as a wolf
5: Cymsdale the villager outs AOK.11 as a wolf in the game thread, withholding THE_SPLIT's identity, on the basis he was contacted by the seer who had scanned AOK.11 as a wolf

This may not entirely be correct, but its the most logical assumption I think you will find
