I read that as "This is a terrible way to win [voting aedan777 without giving reason] - but it will result in win". Could be total misreading but I'd have expected something like "this is totally stupid way to play for villager" or something to that effect, now it read villagers will gain by voting you, albeit with stupid (as in, no) reason.

I read it in the same way; I am not sure it is a crovax though, since it could just as well be that it was a terrible way for the village to win by first lynching villagers instead of wolves and the wolves just in time to avoid parity. At least that was how I interpreted it.
