Now, I've taken a closer look at Von Rundstedt, and while his voting record is impeccable... Something is not right. I've barely seen him in thread, and he seems to have suddenly come to the conclusion that marty is a wolf, without any reason whatsoever. If you ask me, he was alibi voting.

Now, don't get me wrong, I still think lynching Soupie is a bad idea, but at least if we tie them, we can get some information on both. I'll vote for alphabet; youse guys vote rundstedt, and make that tie. Then we can lynch me tomorrow and still lose...

I really, really don't know what to think about last night shenanigans. Dr.Livingstone was obviously goodie so there is no point for him to deceive Lemeard (unless, maybe [and this is huge maybe] he thought Lemeard was fishing there?). Marshall could be wolf on a fishing trip but like Euro has said, why do it? At that point seer is already dead so there is no point in trying to pinpoint the rest since either they will come out when they are in danger of being lynched or they are not in danger of being lynched. Either way I don't see how it would greatly benefit the wolves.

There is one thing I haven't seen raised yet - is Lemeard lying here? I doubt it since I can't see any reason why do that. Lying would be very risky in case Livingstone would have come to the thread and it would be easy to verify - but then again, so would forging of PMs backfire easily. It's very convenient and unfortunate that Livingstone, the only one who could confirm it either way, is dead.

Or is the reason simply that Dr.Livingstone has again forgotten his medicine? This might suggest that’s the case here (though ghosts really shouldn’t say anything). So, yeah, I have no idea what that PM mess was about.

Euro is a real clever wolf this game.

You know this kind of crossed my mind, too.Especially with Euro putting vote on Marty (both Marty and Euro are high-visibility players and presumably would get scanned sooner rather than later) and their in-game fighting in the thread over lynch targets. It kind of smells like alibi stuff.

He wanted to, but you stopped him because it would point back to him. Clever wolf you are.

Snoopdogg again has a point here. It could fit perfectly with Euro.

Skobelev hasn't put quite as much as he normally does, Kiwi subbed out for snoopdogg, and Von_Rundstedt has flown completely below the radar. Kiwi also defended marty, but at the same time cast slight doubt on him. Alibi attempt?

Rundstedt and Kiwi/snoop are looking like rather good candidates, if we accept that the Marshall mess is just a wild goose chase.

It might have something to do that I've been at bar the last 2 evenings watching Cup. That tends to cut down my activity around the deadline. I've posted my thoughts and tried to reason out my votes.

Also, voting records on von_Rundstedt is making him look very much like goodie. The problem I have is this nagging feeling that tells me there must have been alibi votes going around. Apart from those votes von_Rundstedt has been flying under stealth here. Anybody can tell if this is his usual style of play?

Before snoopdogg took over I was thinking he was one of the wolves, albeit quiet one. After snoopdogg subbed in I'm not so sure now. Snoopdogg has a point about not trusting Euro to direct the lynch on both candidates.

Stays out of late shenanigans? Not like Skobie, and something he voted liverstone for early.

I was around, yes. I didn't switch there because I wanted to see where the voting was going. Go check the last game game where alxeu, Livingstone, Euro and others were changing their votes when trying to jockey for tie/lynching. Notice that I wasn't switching around there all the time, either and the voting cycle was much more active. Mostly I was watching and trying to understand what is happening and why. I was doing the same here.

I didn't vote Livingstone because he didn't do anything. I voted him more for him being around, not giving any signs of it and then shortly after deadline he came to the thread to slander snoopdogg. It was day 2 so it was not like I had tons of good reasoning to use for my vote there. Yea, in retrospect the vote and reason for it was bad but at least I try to type out some justification for my vote, even if it's not that great. Oh and like so often, the vote was also "justified" for no action on him yet. Did I vote like that? Yes. Did I call others to lynch him on that premise? No.

If we do a 2-way tie we only need one wolf to avoid parity, while a three-way requires at least 2 wolves, otherwise the hunt brings us dwn to 4 and parity.

You think I wouldn’t have put alibi vote on Marty if I was a wolf? Seeing how he would have been very improbable lynch on the first days it would have been rather easy and safe thing to do. On the day Marty voted me and pushed Euro and others to vote me, too – don’t you think we would have orchestrated also me to vote him if alibi voting was the idea and I was his packmate? Especially since Marty is high-scan player so it would have been very convenient to do so on the first days. Hmm let's see - actually you were voting him there.

I don't believe he was complaining. Merely explaining why a thing was the way it was. This is complaining: The rule stinks and should never be used again.

Would you disagree that marty early in the game placed a meaningless alibi vote on him, as well as got others to run him up early in the day, knowing full-well that such an early lead would not stand come the deadline?
