Well, not voting so early is rather poor, so I'm fine with lynching jcucc. Euro though... he could be a wolf, that's completely possible, but he always acts like this. Not sure if he's a good lynch, but it's possible, though I would rather jcucc. Lekus I have nothing on, but he's not really said much. His few posts are votes, and pretty much nothing else. Since Jcucc is in the lead, I'll push leksu into a race.

Yesterday the switch to THE_SPLIT came rather fast: Within 10 minutes it went from EURO in the lead to THE_SPLIT heavily in the lead. The switchers was madchemist, EURO and videon; videon was a villager though, EURO probably switched in self preservation and madchemist probably don't know that THE_SPLIT often is very defensive, so the switch cannot really tell us something right now - but it is important to remember especially madchemist's part in the future in the future.
That only leaves the three-way tie on day one as far as I can see: Both Panzer and EURO is suspicious in that regard. EURO's explanation for not breaking the tie was that he didn't care - strange thing for a villager, but he is EURO - whereas Panzer's explanation was that he didn't know when deadline was - also plausible. I don't want to hunt zombies though - remember jcucc probably is subbed by Ithvan - and EURO was runned up yesterday. The switch to THE_SPLIT could be a save attempt, if madchemist is a wolf - remember that if I die and madchemist is a wolf - but lacking that knowledge and given EURO was run up yesterday lets see what happens from running up Panzer.

Now, I wouldn't go as far as madchemist has gone and try to say anything conclusive on every player at this point. His list seems well-intentioned but as Vainglory points out it's full of holes and dubious arguments/conclusion. Still, it's good to see new player making the effort so it's laudable in any case.

It's been two days and the seer is alive so there's no panic. Though outing today or tomorrow would be nice. Wagonlitz could well be right to raise new candidates as it seems like we are again taking few first-mentioned names and sticking with them. I'm also guilty of that now but reading the thread it really seemed like jcucc could be zombie wolf so I voted accordingly.

Wagonlitz has a point in that THE_SPLIT voting could have been save attempt. On the other hand, judging by the comments and behaviour THE_SPLIT isn't the most well-liked fellow (then again, WW isn't necessarily about being popular) the change to him could have been just an attempt to stir the voting up a bit. Not necessarily bad idea as just voting up few semirandom names and then sticking with them through whole day isn't usually the best idea for the good of game and to the good of village. I suppose it will remain to be seen whether it was rescue of fellow wolf or people just stirring things up.

I don't want to hunt zombies though

Very interesting choice of words there and good catch by Hax. It almost sounds like something beginning with C... but then again, I'm not sure if Wagonlitz has used the same term before in similar context which is perfectly possible. Non-native English speakers are bound to use silly idioms, dubious terms and such.

Also, could the kind GM tell us the status of jcucc? Has Ithvan agreed to sub in?

Ouch, some harsh criticisms here. Probably not all undeserved, either, though I tried to just summarize the known facts in the thread and give my admittedly inexperienced interpretation of them.

I wasn't going to dignify this with a reply... then I decided you're so wrong on so many levels you need urgent correcting.

1. The fact that I have twice voted people who subsequently proved to be villagers means nothing at all because:
A. None of the alternative candidates has proved to be a wolf yet, thus there's no argument that I was "protecting" anyone.
B. You cannot even suggest I shouldn't have voted for those two with foresight: there was nothing indicative that they were more likely villagers than others.
2. Non-random votes such as I placed are a good thing for the village because:
A. If I was a wolf then I have placed myself in a position where I can be exposed
B. It concentrates votes in a manner that eases analysis
3. I didn't cause "substantial conflict with SPLIT". This is the silliest of all the things you said because:
A. It's utterly irrelevant. There's simply no reason why an argument with THE_SPLIT would mean I'm a wolf.
B. THE_SPLIT revenge voted me, as proven by his pathetic excuse.
C. So if anything he initiated the conflict.
D. Which at about two posts isn't substantial.
E. THE_SPLIT is one of the most belligerent people playing here.
F. It's his MO to threaten anyone who votes against him, so if anything Snoop and I ought to be lauded for bothering to face his wroth - such as it is.

Final Mark: 3/10 since at least your spelling and grammar was okay, but in terms of argument it was below expectations. Please put more thought into your homework in future.

OK, then. To be fair, I've put down "bad voting record" for anyone who voted two villagers, myself included, and the list of people to whom that applies is almost certainly larger than what I've written, we just don't know for sure. And I admit that the points I brought up do not constitute proof that you're a wolf; I just have a lot less info to work with than I'd like at the moment, and am going on guesses.

The lupine plot claims its first victim. Not surprisingly, it's a noob. Upsetting that it's this one in particular, though.

If you are a wolf, then you've been a very bold one, and if you're a villager, you've behaved rather strangely. The fact that it seems almost too obvious to me worries me a bit, especially since the possibility of framing people has been brought up multiple times in the thread. I will consider this vote carefully before deadline.

Wagon is too good to die at the hands of Crovax.

Though to be fair, I think even the best can do Crovaxian slip. Not that I claim to be good but I know I've done plenty of them.

It's way too harsh to think anybody who has been part of both villager lynchings is wolf. As you yourself confess, we just don't know. It's been two days, no wolves have been lynched so the informations is limited. Just don't start making too wild assumptions based on just 2 days of voting. Though as I said, it's commendable that you make the effort as new player.

edit:

Nope, see update.

Hmm? Do you mean he voted jcucc and then unvoted THE_SPLIT? In the meanwhile GM had said that THE_SPLIT is subbing jcucc so I see nothing wrong with the unvote.

edit2: ah, I see you edited it after all.

Would it be ethical to lynch Split after his subbing?

Why not? It's not like subbing has some in-built protection. But I'll listen if you (or anybody else, of course), gives some reason for not lynching him. Also, I think Olaus got lynched thrice in one game so it's not like there isn't any precedence for serial lynchings of same player. :D

Could you please tell us a bit more of those golden days back in 2008. How was WW then? I remember when I started that it was much more active and fun than it's now. :(

I appeal to the audience: did I state that Wagon was incapable of slipping in a Crovaxian manner? No. What I said was I will not be party to the lynching of a competent player like Wagonlitz on the basis of an unintentional error that may or may not reveal a subconscious desire for village blood.

A Crovaxian lynch should only be carried out against lesser players when we've little evidence otherwise.

Rysz was always wolf so if he wasn't hunted on night 1 he was to be lynched. Thistle threw great hissy fits, especially when he was lynched as villager and had feud with Olaus, AOK was active and forceful... ah the good old times. Though I think the triple-lynch of Olaus was 2007, not 2008.

Ah, right, I misunderstood you, then. My bad (as usual). But yea, notice how I'm not voting him either at this moment even though his "brain fart" looks pretty text-book Crovaxian. So I kind of agree with you there.
