Night 2

Consulting the ancient oracle.

Hoping to put an end to the mischief that happened the previous day, one of the remaining 16 is chosen for sacrifice. Upon further examination, it turns out that he was no threat. His passing would be more sad, but sacrifice of innocents is no big deal around here.

Mourning the loss of 1,002 citizens isn't easy. To better understand their predicament, the survivors decide to consult the ancient oracle. The oracle was sort of helpful. It turns out that owls are known to be messengers of powerful forces. Lamentably, there are no owls around, but there is one Kiwi. Or, more accurately, there had been one Kiwi. His passing would be more sad, but this one was coated in delectable chocolate, now freely available to those who remain.

I don't think hunting is random, I guess there is some form of voting among the wolves. Also there must be at least an older player among the wolves statistically, so it would be too obvious a choice. I don't think esemesas is the one.

However Kiwi did say:

More likely hunting a winner from the previous game. Which is standard operating procedure for some of the vets, including myself.

That was a more subtle thing. Hence I'd be more inclined to go for one of the oldies... Not sure who yet though.
