To put it mildly, there was a SHOCKING amount of activity in between my last post and now. Let's try to decipher it, shall we?
For starters, there was the leming train on Aedan, started by a short rage post by DBW. This only ended with the monster post by Aedan, essentially a defense of himself and an examination into multiple people's none-too-impressive voting records, turning the tables on Alynkio, who he has been tunneling on for several days. This was followed by a back and forth between Spam, Aedan, and Capage/JM, hammering out certain details and tossing out various packs. DBW reveals the convo's with the seers, which included three important tidbits: one, that DBW was scanned by both seers, Claude had only contacted DBW, and there was no mention of me (thus proving the day 3 vote by him was a prod to activity, not a "soft outing"). Spokyt said something, further cementing him as the only person on everybody's list of likely wolves. More back and forth, somehow I end up on the agenda, and Spockyt emerges as a third option in the Aedan v Alynkio debate.
The way I see it, the cases on the three are as follows:
Aedan was unusually quiet untill he was bandwagoned, and didn't have the best of voting records. He was involved in funny TIE buisness on day 2 (?), and led the charge against several known goodies. Very unsually for him he tunneled Aklynio, someone who escaped most peoples wolfdar until recently, for days finally culiminating in his grand push today. Also cast a fairly lazy vote on Jeray that is unusual for him. The pressure between him and Spam is heating up now as well.
Alynkio's most damning moments came day 1, when it sure looked like he was doing all he could to get Cody out of the lynch spotlight. Since then he has mainly been busy trading barbs with Aedan, posting decent analysis on other candidates periodically through the round, but then benefited from a possible wolf wolf save on day 2 (leading Audren to die instead, but then again Audren dug his own grave). First vote on Rovsea day 3, but I'm willing to forgive that because the alternative, Jeray, was hardly guilty of anything.
Spockyt hasn't done much this round, hasn't posted much, hasn't helped the village much, doesn't have a very good voting record. None of this is terribly unusual of an inactive Spock play (plenty of us are quite busy irl this week, so understandable), and helpfully fits in most pack configurations. There isn't really much of a case against him per say, but not much of a case before him.
And for some reason, after Spam continually brought up my name in every single on of his damned posts for 3 pages, somehow I go from likely goodie (for voting cody, following DBW's lead day 2, and saving Jeray day 3) to everyone's pack list, and no one has any decent explanations for why the sudden change beyond weak "Well it could be an alibi vote" (horribly unlikely given how that second vote on Cody started the wagon, and if it is how come Voyager/Jeray and JM/Capage have evaded this accusation?). I should be LESS suspicious now that its revealed Claude didn't scan me, and thus I wasn't outed. I don't know if its wolves attempting to string up a likely villager who most people nontheless harbor suspisions of, or if its clueless villagers flayling about, come up with a different line of attack
All of that out of the way, I'm inclined to go with Aedan today; he has made a forceful defense of himself today, and a strong effort against Alynkio. But then again, I look at Alynkio's record, and beyond day 1... he's been quite helpful to the village. His thoughtful analysis has often been one of only two helpful posts on the slow days, and looking at who votes Alynky is a list of people who are either suspious or dead. Aedan has only made an effort on behalf of himself.
VOTE AEDAN
Aside from the current wolf hunt, I feel there's a lot of "American arguing" going on. Sorry for the lack of a better word.
-100 sympathy points. If this vote didn't matter so much, I'd vote you right here and now!

Close? There was a MASS EXODUS of BIBLICAL PROPORTIONS from the Zone of Totality yesterday, turning what was supposed to be a three-hour drive into an eleven-hour drive spent almost entirely on a two-lane, 100-mile stretch of freeway. It was insane, and totally without internet access. God conspired against me. On the other hand, the eclipse was fucking amazing.
What part of the country did you venture to see the Eclipse at? I'm horrified at how awful that commute sounds (11 hours driving is doable. 11 hours stuck in gridlock is NOT), but then again seeing how the partial eclipse down here was basically nothing, I'm super jealous you got to see the Totality, and wish I had sucked it up and gone :/
