We can also ascertain the very same thing by lynching EURO instead. Wolf EURO deliberately saving one villager over another is very much possible; so when EURO is the one displaying suspicious behaviour, we lynch EURO.

EDIT: I should stop skimming over posts. Hold on.
EDIT2: Nope, I see where you come from, but I don't trust you and EURO saving you instead of Wagon there is still a major possibility. So I'm keeping my vote on EURO.

How do you think my playstyle differs between roles? Do you think I'm quiet when I'm a villager? Because that is what your case implies.

I am not quiet. No matter my role. I may not get everything right, but I trust myself over anybody else, and therefore want to see my suspicions turned into lynches.

If you equate activity with wolfishness, you've got a big surprise coming.

Admittedly true, but there's still the fact that once again EURO led the village in a charge against a villager. It might be worth lynching him for that alone, given that his... activity completely occluded any other cases that could have been made there on potential wolves.

Again, EURO's assertiveness is more likely to be a trait of being EURO than a trait of being a wolf. Lynching him for that alone is... ill-advised.

I hold you in high enough regard not to say things as straightforward as that your activity always equates to wolfishness. However your push for Jackson, aside from lynching a villager, also had the unfortunate side-effect of killing most of the attention for alternate candidates, which makes it a valid wolf play. Things like claiming not to have read your role PM, pointing out differences in your play to last game when uncalled for, being assertively defended by other players (notably Audren) do nothing to alleviate my concerns.

In the end, Audren's and Rovsea's cases are probably as good as yours, but I happened to pick you. I suggest coming up with a more valid case if you feel uncomfortable with being voted.

I really can't fault you for much. That post was perfectly crafted to get a response out of me. You had the bad luck of selecting me as your target, but had it been anyone else, you'd see a pretty damning reaction to a post like that.

I'm not liking this post. Audren never said Euro was a bad lynch, nor did he claim Euro to be a likely villager. He merely pointed out the flaws in the case presented against Euro. Villagers should always be critical of flaws they see in cases being presented, since the person making the cases could have an agenda opposed to the village. Colouring Audren's rightful criticism as protecting euro seeks to imply that Audren has a motive to see euro remain alive, which most likely would make them packmates. Rovsea is more and more becoming my favourite candidate for the day.

So because my question is meant to imply that they could be packmates; yes, I acknowledge that's what it's meant to do, it's bad? No, aedan, you're wrong. I find it interesting that Audren went out of his way to offer an opinion, yes aedan, an opinion, that can in no way be verifiable, to protect another player. I think that this is a huge overreaction to me doing nothing more than prodding Audren.

Being a lawyer is overrated. I much preferred being a politician. We had a good run packmate.

Players offering opinions on other players is how the game is played. Attacking someone for having a reasonable opinion (again, he wasn't saying Euro was a bad lynch, just that the case wasn't a good one) is not terribly conducive to finding wolves. If you mean to say it was just prodding and it shouldn't be taken for too much, then why are you freaking out about me questioning you? I'm still not voting you, so I fail to see how me taking issue with you throwing suspicion on another player for weak reasons qualifies as "a huge overreaction".

I don't like how audren has been reacting to EURO, but it's fine for us to disagree on this point, and in retrospect, your post doesn't seem quite as aggressive as it originally did, but accept that I'm probably not going to agree with you right now.

Let's see how yesterday went. Voting a bit with Jacksonian on lead most of the day. Then Emperor Ike makes it 5-way tie here.

Hazbot (who has been doing nothing before this) wakes up and puts promptly Jackson back to lead.

SO you want some random dude to save you? What is this?

Eh? I wouldn't care if it was random dude or whatever as long as I'd get saved.

I find it highly suspicious that people think it odd that the "case" on Wagon is invalid, and that somehow Audren still doesn't have the most votes.

Why would case being invalid have to lead Audren specifically getting the most votes?

Seems like an odd rule. Oh well. I didn't know. Now I do.

It's because vote count can (and often will) affect how people vote. Also "can I have vote count" and variations of it can be used to make people rethink the voting. Wolf could ask for a vote count to relieve pressure on packmate who's run up, for instance, without much case. Then when people see the bandwagon they might have different thoughts about voting which was triggered by vote count. Also, kindly use ghost colour (=non-white).

Why not Ike?

No, I don't like this at all.

Why have you voted Ike?

Self preservation seems to be powerful motive.

Anyways, Ike gets some traction with Jacksonian & Audren, the two top contenders at that point switching. Wagon puts Ike into lead . Interestingly enough that makes Najs to appear and question the switch.

Why are you participating in the switch? I see the self-interest of the first two, but why you?

Before that he'd been fairly quiet so it's somewhat peculiar move. Then of course Marty joins the switch and puts Ike into fairly big lead - and that causes Audren to abandon the Ike vote immediately and go back to Wagon. With a vote that's basically throwaway at this point since Wagon has 0 votes.

Euro, of course, continues his campaign to have Jacksonian dead.

Funny how that never happens to me.

So, what are you saying here? That Marty is using it as an excuse?

I don't like Rovsea's defense of Wagon, I don't like Wagon's shaky logic for supporting the switch, and I don't like Jackson's behaviour in this position.

VOTE WAGON

Page from Euro rulebook, eh? Lots of suspicion cast around, at least, while keeping option for sniping open.

Jacksonian Missionary goes idiot mode, it seems, and panics:

Oh fuck it.

Unvote Ike
Vote Wagon

Notice Wagon had 1 vote before this and Ike was leading the vote. Now Jacksonian ties himself with Audren.

Wagonlitz seems to be picking up some traction again with Marty switching:

I like ike

Unvote Ike Vote Wagon

and Audren continues his crusade against Wagonlitz:

Ike was picked out of a hat, essentially. Wagon was run up earlier today, and there was resistance.

Audren, care to explain why you were so resistant to lynching Ike? You were on considerable danger yourself, at least superficially, but you kept throwing your vote away. Mind explaining the reasoning?

Gen. Marshall butts in

Yes they have? As I said to Wagon, both you and Audren have way too few votes to legitimately claim a "bandwagon" defence.

and correctly points out there's no bandwagon. However, Jacksonian has been up the whole day (except in the end where other main candidates consolidated for a second on Ike). Also after Euro led village into merry chase last game I guess his calls for Jacksonians head were meeting some resistance in this game.

My support for the switch was self-preservative and short-sighted. Lynching Wagon saves me and gets better information.

Pray tell what was so short-sighted in voting Ike? I find it very interesting that the moment he went over the top in votes you backed off him. Before that you were calling for switch and it would have been unseemly had you refused, especially as you were in danger yourself. Unless, of course, there's some connection between you two.

You've got to be kidding me.

Unvote Audren
Vote Jackson

Gen. Marshall seals the deal on Jacksonian Missionary. Granted, this vote wasn't needed and Jacksonian had entered into boorish stage but still putting him way up seems rather unnecessary.

Jacksonian's behaviour even woke up Aedan

What an odd post. "I'm not sure I want to play. But if I die I want back in."
.

And I must say "what the hell is this?":

I don't particularly like the cases on either Wagon or Jackson, so I guess I'll

Vote Ike.

Spockyt, who's been silent as tomb all time now goes and without unvoting tries to make rather pointless vote on Ike. In hindsight he was right about Jackson which sort of makes me wonder why he didn't speak up earlier when there was a chance his vote could have helped save him.

And why the hell does Ike have votes?

And again, why the hell shouldn't he have votes?

If EURO has a wolfish interest in this lynch, it's to protect Wagon.

Nope, there's more to it than that. I found more to suspect.

Still fascinated with Wagonlitz? Care to elaborate on this?

-----

So, few things. We had quite few very quiet ones who should start speaking their minds.

Audren: elaborate on your case with Wagonlitz. Before you said there was more to it and now you're saying you have a hunch on him? And pray tell us why you tried to protect Ike so hard?

EUROO7: now that you've had your pound of Jacksonians flesh, what next?

Najs: can't say I remember much from his playstyle. But what he wrote would be textbook baddie defending packmate when Ike started getting votes. I'll reserve judgement for later as he seems to be making comeback and I don't want to vote him yet.

For now I'll

vote Hazbot

as he was very quiet and in the 5-way tie situation he quickly put Jacksonian back to the block.

You do raise good points, but I feel I should put up a defence anyway. As I said last game, my style is for the first couple of days only respond if someone directly adresses me, or I feel I have something unique to add. (Later I post my thoughts regardless.) While, yes I wasn't a fan of the cases on Jackson, or Wagon, I also didn't mind if it was them, even though I would have preferred it not to have been. And when I did my vote, that was the earliest I came to the forum after the vote switch happened, (engrossed with American Truck Simulator, and Conclave) and I thought Ike was as good a candidate as we were going to get, and I didn't know it was invalid till I saw the count.

May I just say before we go back to the game, what a pleasure and a privilege it is to play with such a superlative werewolf player as ours, Gen. Skobelev.

@DaHaterz: You must understand there are bigger roles to play. Your role is observatory. Mine is predatory. Not in the... wolf... way... rather the crypto-prosecutorial gets in your face and licks you... predatory.

@skobelev A fine job. Though odd that you don't pursue your case on the Audren-Ike Connection. It's so clear to me in your post. This follows:
