And quite honestly I think the theory is worth a shot. We don't really have a lot of other candidates, as we have 2 on Euro 1 on Wagon and 1 on Jerman. If we were to lynch anyone other than Rovsea then I would probably lean towards Euro or Jerman.

I actually also think it could be worth testing; the problem is that this could be the last day.

But yes we don't have much else. EURO could be a wolf and so could Jerman.

Even if Aedan's theory isn't correct, I highly doubt he is a wolf simply because if he were he wouldn't be bothered to make this case and would be content letting the village continue killing each other like we have been these past 2 days.

Unless one or both of EURO and Jerman are wolves of course.

Never heard that story. And it seems to contradict itself with first it being the king thinking he his all powerful and then his advisors.
Also Knud is a rather normal name. (Both Canute and Cnut are Anglisations of Knud.)

You misunderstood me. The story is commonly told as him thinking he can hold back the waves, he did it in reality, (well, as real as we can prove) to prove his advisors wrong, they thought he was all powerful.n

And that was Canute the great. Unfortunately, consensus it that he was a terrible, incompetent tyrant, due to the story being incorrect, and a good portion of people think that is how it went.

Pretty sure he wasn't incompetent or terrible. Probably a tyrant, though so were all kings back then. Although probably less of a tyrant than contemporary western European kings (at least towards his Norse subjects) with how there still was a really large class of free peasants in all of Scandinavia. (They remained large in Sweden whereas they slowly dwindled in number, but never disappeared, in Denmark and Norway.)

Doesn't make him incompetent though; and I don't know if the Anglo-Saxons were treated worse---and at least up in the north there were many Norse living and they at least weren't treated worse.

We indeed need more discussion. Though I feel that it just is you and me who are here at the moment.
And again I am not sure if I want to try aedan's theory; had it been proposed yesterday then sure, but on the potentially last day it is rather iffy. I have the feeling that he is trying to drive us around---potentially with the help of you. I am getting more and more afraid that EURO, you, aedan, and k-59 are the wolves and I am without hope of turning this around due to the inactivity. Though that probably just is paranoia, so hopefully you 4 aren't the wolves.
Of the other candidates I probably like Jerman the most due to him providing the most information. With him we get vital information on Cody (likely wolf if Jerman is), Bentley (also likely wolf if Jerman is), and k-59. I think we even get info on EURO.
EURO is also a possibility due to him coming across in a strange way, but I prefer Jerman due to the sheer amount of information we can gain from him---on the other hand said information would be useless if he is a villager and we hit parity.

Oh, I know he wasn't. But people who are clueless about history, but still feel a need to weigh in around here think he is. To those in the know, he wasn't a bad king, even if we don't exactly consider him King of England. (We always say that the first English King was William I (The Conqueror), a Norman.

And of Danish descent not to forget. Actually now I think of it then from the Romans took Britain and until William of Orange conquered it then only Danes or people of direct Danish descent have managed to conquer England; never thought about it before---quite a feat actually. I have to say I don't particularly care for Rovsea at the moment. I don't think he's a wolf, but he's certainly bone-headed.
