For accepting Wagon's idea of running up somebody who posted before update. Doing so is a great way for a wolf to limit the candidates on day 1.

Well then. Out of those, I'd say it is most likely to be Griffin out of those. On a slightly unrelated note, would people stop hunting Health D1/lynching D2? It is getting a bit predictable.

You've missed the point of why you posting yet not voting is suspicious. A villager at this stage should be finding the candidate they find most likely to be a wolf and vote them. If need be they can switch it to a sub-optimal candidate if the alternative is themselves, someone they know is a villager. Waiting for other to decide candidates is wolfish, or at least it helps the wolves. The only person you can trust is yourself (barring JLs), so letting everyone but yourself decide the voting process is a terrible way to play as a villager..

I never said I was waiting for other people to make my mind up.

I apologize for not voting, I have a really bad cold, I would usally be out of bed around 8:30am (An hour and a half after deadline) (830 for you Europeans) but due to the fact I'm sick today, and taking the day off I wasn't out of bed until 1pm (1300 for you Europeans), however I am going to make an effort to play the game.

What makes you think that we use that time format over here? Granted, I can't speak definitively for the continent, but I can speak fairly definitively for UK. Only people here who use it, are Army Personnel, RN Personnel, RAF Personnel, HMCG Personnel, and some former any of the above. Plus some other, odd people.

I thought that everyone over there was on the 24hour clock, probably because I see it when the U.S. feed of CNN cuts to their International broadcast, as well as in GTA, which I assumed had it because Rockstar is a Scotland based company.

Ah, you mean the 24 hour clock. Didn't realise that, thought you meant the military time-style. I wouldn't say that everyone uses it, but it isn't rare. Typically (at least in the UK) when you buy a clock, or something with a timekeeping device, you can choose between 24, and the more common 12 hour clock.

You never explained why you thought Griffin was the most likely. Also you now claim that he doesn't have a good case against him?

Now, today. Obviously, I'm not a fan of the case on me, but I'm also not a fan of the case against Griffin. Yes, it is suspicious, but it could just be a new player mistake. Now, I'm not saying Griffin isn't a wolf, but I don't think Griffin's behaviour proves anything, either.

What was the good case yesterday that suddenly dissappeared today? Also I noted yesterday that your "oh my God why is Health always hunted" comment, implying you'd never do such a thing is a distancing tactic I've seen newb wolves do a lot.

I suspected you yesterday and that hasn't really changed one iota.

RP-ing is also a very easy hideout for wolves. I think we have enough candidates for today to not drag him into this yet, however I'll be keeping an eye out on his comments.

I'm confused why a number of players are ignoring candidates with votes to instead talk about some supposed case on Black_Griffin, when there is no one voting him. The worst culprit of this is Spokyt, whose post would suggest a run-up between himself and Griffin, but again, Griffin has not a single vote against him. I would vote him for this, but he's already well in the lead.

Also of note is K-59 coming along to cast doubt on the possibility of Wagonlitz being a villager, while not giving a vote. Jerman getting more votes to contest with spockyt is good though. More activity would be useful though, particularly from today's main candidates.

EDIT: My first paragraph part about Spokyt being in the lead was true when I wrote it, but I forgot to change it by the time I posted.

Griffin is a good suspect, however I'm not sure if I'm saying so because he is voting me. I tend to view anyone voting me with suspicion. Also I'm trying to keep in mind that he is actually new, so might be due to that.

Also to keep in mind is that Griffin did get a bunch of votes pretty quickly as a counter to Spock/Jerman.

The point of my defense was not that I have a higher chance of being a villager, therefore I am, that was me saying my behaviour in the game is how I act despite my role, and I have only been wolf once (out of 8 games I acted like this, I think) in that time, so when I act like that, I have a statistically higher chance of being a villager. Happy? I thought that came across in my previous post, but apparently not. Not that I begrudge typing, but it feels (at least, to me) like I am just repeating myself. Then again, that could just be me reading between the lines of what I though, but didn't type.

Isn't that the whole point of the game? The wolves job is to behave the same and the villages job is to find those nuances in the behaviour and call people out on it.

I never used how he was defending me; I lynched him due to him not being online during day 0 meaning there was a good chance he was a wolf.

Uhhh... This isn't a good reason to vote someone, do you know what is a good reason to vote for someone? Making idiotic votes....

Sorry. Anyway, sometimes I am slighly "you voted me, you must be guilty" style, but this game I'm being more realistic. I'm not getting a wolfish vibe from Aedan, but Daffius? Daffius I am picking up on a wolfishness.

As for my voting Griffin yesterday, and defending him today? I thought I did explain it, but looking back through the thread (to find the quote, thereby proving you wrong, sorry.) I can't see it, even though I reemember typing it. I may have missed it, or I may have imagined it.

So (maybe repeating myself,) in brief, early yesterday, after the Deadline Debacle, I followed Wagon's theory about "The Seven Candidates", and I felt that out of the seven, it was most likely Griffin, due to a returning player realising that Health has been hunted D1 multiple times recently. Later, that theory was debunked, and so today I did not follow that theory. Late yesterday/today, Griffin displayed suspicious behaviour. Wolfish behaviour, even. That could just be explained by it being Griffin's first game, (unless I am mistaken on that) like last game where we hanged Myoon for being suspicious. Myoon was innocent. (Didn't turn out brief, did it? I tend to ramble in my head, and I type it all out, never cutting it down.)

I hope you all heed my advice, and even if you do now heed it today, and hang me, when you realise (too late) that I am a villager, I hope you listen to it then.

Ummm, no. Too much resistance is not about you putting up too much defense. It's a phrase used when someone is found to be wolfish, but suddenly counter candidates pop up and votes do not stick. Making the candidate difficult to lynch.

This may be due to many factors, one of which is packmates trying to apply pressure elsewhere.

I know I can, but I don't. It just feels disjointed, confuses the thread, and it feels like I'm talking to myself, and other people will have forgotten the conversation, and their thoughs about the matter.

Everyone in Europe (except the UK) use 24 hour time pretty much exclusively. Some analogue clocks are 12 hour, but that is it. And not even all analogue clocks are 12 hour; some are 24 hour.

No. In the UK that might well be the case, but don't generalise the UK to the continent. The UK is the odd one out on a lot of things including using proper metric units and using proper time. (pun intended)
