It all depends on how long my and jens' game will last and that depends on the players. But I think you should try to skip until after you come back, maybe drop down 2 spots on the list.

Thanks to EURO, I have now seen this. But, this may cause a problem with my GM'ing spot. I'm supposed to go with my father and that side of my family down to SeaWorld for a few days. During that time, I won't have any internet connections. My best solution then, is for someone to take the next spot after jens/vink, then if Kriszo isn't back, I'll GM the next game, and if Kriszo is back, we can just go back to the normal order.
I had this all planned out. By the time Kriszo's game was over, I would be back from any vacations. Now it is all screwed up.

I'm sorry to cause such a mess
I knew I was going on a vacation when I signed up for GMship, just didn't know the exact date yet, and thought it would be later. Now the picture looks like this:I travel off on the 12th to Scandinavia until 02nd aug., and then I'll be also absent from the 16th to 19th august.
So the problem is that there is no large enough gap between these, so most likely I need to do it after the 19th aug. Unless the current game is as fast as the previous.

EDIT: a solution could be that someone takes my place, and then OY can GM when he originally wanted

Now that we have had a few games that's been cohosted by two GMs what are your experiences? Both as GMs and as players.
in my opinion it's very confusing and personally I don't like it...
but I guess it makes it a lot easier because GMing a big game is much work.
If I host a game, I rather do it on my own. Else it might get confusing for the players and the GM's. It is managable if the co-GM's make good arrangements with each other. For example the reciever of the orders should not change during a game. I also think it's more fun to co-host, since you can talk with someone else about your great ideas. That's the biggest downside of GM-ing alone, you can't talk about the torment you intend to unleash upon your hapless victims.
As a veteran in this field (GMed two games one big one lite with two GMs ) I would like to say that it is much more recommended that a single person GM. Players often become confused with the orders, and if one GM does not show, and he has part of the info, the update cannot take place.

Agreed. Two GM's can make it really confusing, ecpecially when they are telling you two opposite things about the same subject.
Well I don't know if you can compare EURO and Lemeard's game to Hellvink and Jensthemens'. The former was just bizarre.

I never been part of a dual GMship but I would imagine the greatest benefit would be pre-game, discussing the setting, the game setup and the rules. Once the game is up and running it seems the coordination between the GMs is more of a burden on the GMs than an actual help (but maybe there is more things going on behind the scene? For instance one GM likes to write updates while one is more interested in the game mechanics?)
As a player I find the dual GMing sometime creates confusion. Confusion is generally a good thing in the game but maybe not when it comes to rule decisions?

There's also the benefit that if your PM box is filled, you can send orders to other GM.
