We ought to do a game together again. And this time I can redeem myself by doing more than just having the idea.
It'd be difficult now that I have a respectable 8-4 job, but I'd be interested if we figured out the logistics.
I mean, Chopin was a surprisingly robust theme. Anything's possible.
I'm waiting for Werewolf CCCIV: Don't Diss the Lizz.
What's your job? It'd be difficult now that I have a respectable 8-4 job, but I'd be interested if we figured out the logistics.
A Cliges&Kiwi game seems like fun as long as Cliges isn't purely posting songs or Kiwi LotR melodramatics. Other than that, go for it.![]()
They should both post slam poetry. Are you suggesting that Cliges should post the LotR melodramatics and Kiwi post the songs? Cause I'm down with that.
Nah, lame forced meme is lame & forced.

You work for your national spy/intelligence agency. That's about as close as I've come to saying.
Hm. That's interesting. At one point I considered applying for an advertised position at one of our spy agencies. They discourage talking about whether you have actually made an application or what for, never mind whether you got the job.
I will say I gave great thought to the morality of the work, extending to the possible effects of people reconsidering due to ethical concerns causing a skew in the kind of people applying leading to an environment where those concerns become reality when they wouldn't have otherwise.
That invisible text tho.Obviously I wouldn't be saying this much if I had the job. Unless I was counting on my relative candidness making it seem like I wasn't a spy. In which case I wouldn't have said that, so obviously I'm no spy.
I'll take your word for it. I'm generally over-trusting since I just don't see the point of lying.Heh. Nah, the best way to tell someone isn't a spy (or spec forces soldier) is if they're slyly suggesting they might be to seem impressive or important. The real ones are just getting on with it with no one the wiser. The show boaters tend to be the receptionists or taxi drivers to the real thing at most.
All right, cool. That said I really did think about an advertised position in intelligence and the ethical concerns around it, but didn't end up applying because I wasn't convinced the job itself would be a good fit. I've worked with other groups dealing with sensitive big data instead.
I don't really want to know who you are enough to work it out. And yes, it would be weird if President Obama was on here debating in favor of anarcho-capitalism...There's definitely enough around the forums to work out who I am if you put in the effort, and I'm not too worried about that. But there'd be topics I would have to avoid talking about if I was officially person X from organisation Y because it might suggest inside knowledge on some of that sensitive stuff. Not that it'd be true, but the suggestion is enough of a thing to avoid.
