Yeah, I really dislike having to use that.
Leads to many misunderstandings.

Now, any reason not to ask people to behave nicer?

Certain people are assholes, and you need to learn to cope with it. What terrible things they choose to say/be is none of your business since it does not affect your real life in the slightest, thus you should ignore and take criticism to build yourself stronger.

It does affect my enjoyment here. I wouldn't like them to destroy it and don't think you would either. If you can have it better, you would want it better.

Why can't we have it better? That's why it's like it is. Because people don't think it can be better.
That's the problem. You accept being unfriendly and hostile.
You really want to have it like this?
I don't find it acceptable for people to behave like this.
They shouldn't if they can behave maturely.
You really can't come with a better reason for your behaviour than that we like to be assholes.
You can criticize without being an asshole about it. Is it so hard to do that?

It would be better for all involved if you just stopped. More people doesn't equal better experience. Adding lower quality isn't good. Werewolf has existed on these forums for over a decade now, you aren't some messiah who will suddenly change anything. There's a culture here, and it won't be destroyed because of your feelings and whining.

And would everyone else stop responding to him. It clearly isn't going anywhere and he'll just keep spamming. This is Werewolf General Planning, not "everyone argue in circles against an idiot".

We can't behave, so you should leave. Instead of actually trying to be nice. It's not like i'm asking everything from you.
I don't understand why you have such need to be hostile.

If I arranged a n00b game, could you keep yourself from being hostile?
Let the players in the game complain instead of the whole forum.
You should be able to have such basic respect.

Still swamped, I'm afraid. End of the quarter is a really busy time for a teacher, as it turns out. Maybe over Christmas.
