I ought to have it. Will have to look in my migration save file, but I think I have it. Will see tomorrow.Wagonlitz, I presume you've saved the Important Discussion Had O'er These Last Seven Days.
EDIT: OH GOD MY SIGNATURE
Have you found them? Otherwise Marshall made this very good thread last week. And half the other smileys are missing... what's the old forum address, I think I better go get some of those old ones back to use.
If you think that is bad what then about those---me included---who think the worst things ISIS has done is things like bulldozing Nimrud and burning the library of Mosul. Because while it of course is horrible to those who lose loved ones, in a few centuries people won't remember or cry over those people killed; they will about the world heritage lost though. Just like people still cry over the loss of the Library of Alexandria, but not those many people who undoubtedly died in the different sieges which gave control over Alexandria to those factions who destroyed the library. Or how in a couple centuries people won't cry over the loss of lives in WWII, but will still be sad about the loss of world heritage during the war. (Do note that I don't think people should be killed and that I find it horrible, in case this came out harsh. Just that the loss of world heritage is worse.)"It's just one life" - Rovsea, winner of the Nietzsche wannabe award 2015
Every life is important and priceless.
I wonder how many we actually are who don't like the new smilies. Perhaps we can petition PI to add the old ones officially. From the old forum. Just insert it as an image.
I refuse to use any of the ones from the collection of abhorrent smileys that they have collected here.
You have never heard of Carthade's thread before? Also if you ever need the TMI truck it is in that thread.Ick.
Yeah that really is stupid. Just like all those stupid arguments about X needing buffing/nerfing because a few games all ended up with X being too weak/strong.Exhibit C is the thread on this very forum where someone is insisting to me that based on his personal experience most women are illogical, and that he doesn't need to prove this to me because it's his opinion.
He also claimed that nurse thing?I've added him to my signature because sometimes all you can do is point and laugh.
I would be against it. Activity doesn't drop that much and having a pause breaks the flow and momentum of the game.Have we ever tried a rest day in our WW games?
I feel that in general the activity levels on Sundays are so low that it is more of a chore to check and vote on that day. The frequency of interesting posts is too low on Sundays to make it worth while. Has anyone ever tried a weekend pause? Did it work? Why shouldn't we do it?
Wasn't I der Kaiser des Werwölfereiches?EUROO7 for Werewolf President!
Having cellphones and tablets can hardly be called a priviledge in this day and age; good internet is a human right for crying out loud, so you cannot claim cellphones and tablets are something extraordinary.Check your privilege!
That is a very good question. As far as I can see we cannot.Edit: On a completely separate note, how can we check who has how many posts in a thread. Clicking 'views' doesn't work anymore.
Agree. I am allowed to play video games during the weekend so I don't play WW as much.Have we ever tried a rest day in our WW games?

As far as I know that is the answer. Though I cannot remember what the stats are for serious games. But what are they playing?
It's Candy Crush, isn't it? That's what my sister plays.
It isn't and has nothing to do with a saga. I am actually quite annoyed at them for trying to patent the Scandinavian word saga. It appears they just choose some random words and used them for their name. And how is it a saga? Anyone?

It was a really random thing to mention as well.I said what I thought in that thread. Weren't you there? I think you even took part in the discussion.
Because I disagree that Sundays are my least active day. While that might be true for you, that isn't tue for everybody. That being said, I have nothing against such an idea, as it really doesn't hurt me at all (besides taking away a lot of the time in which I would analyze...).Have we ever tried a rest day in our WW games?

Agree. (I miss the  one especially.I personally don't like the new smilies nearly as much as the old ones, so thanks for the links Wagon.
Seeing he was rather illogical---according to you; I haven't read that thread---he probably was just a sexist. You have to remember though that there is differences in cultures and who knows whether or not the Polish equivalent of dear is normal to use towards females in Poland; just like how Brits call everybody love---or is it only members of the opposite sex. So what looks strange from your point of view might have a good explanation which has nothing to do with sexism etc. Though as mentioned in this case he does appear to be a sexist given his illogical claims. And yes, he did. He also called me dear.He also claimed a lot of ironically illogical things.
Candy Crush did try to patent it though... They also tried patenting 'candy' and 'crush' as far as I remember, but cannot remember if they were as successful with regard to those two words. Or rather it wasn't a patent per se, but a trademark. But trademarking an individual word is pretty much patenting it.A saga in English means a long story, I think- like "The Twilight Saga". I don't think you are allowed to patent individual words here either.
The ISIS thread has moved too fast at times; I didn't post during that discussion. Also it wasn't to start discussion on it; just to point out that Rovsea isn't extreme---and neither am I.I said what I thought in that thread. Weren't you there? I think you even took part in the discussion.
I thought it a logical addition. It was a really random thing to mention as well.![]()
Now yes. Probably not in 200 years. And if not in 200 years then sure in 1000 years. How many do you hear moan about the loss of life during the Napoleonic wars or the Thirty Years War? Two other wars which also really took many soldiers and civilians. (Not sure how many civilians the Napoleonic wars took out.)But I think they will remember the people if the loss is awful enough. People remember the Holocaust, not primarily for destroyed synagogues, but for the terrible human cost and loss of life.
Personally, I miss the stick-out-tongue one, probably because I used it so damn often. Though I do kinda like the newAgree. (I miss the  one especially.I like the new frowny more though.)
Why not keep using the old  then?Agree. (I miss the  one especially.I like the new frowny more though.)
Yeah stick out tongue was one of the ones I used most too. Often it was the only thing indicating whether or not I was serious.Personally, I miss the stick-out-tongue one, probably because I used it so damn often. Though I do kinda like the new. All the others are just...bleh compared to the old ones.
That was another one of my brilliant observations. The smile is too much, like somebody said in that thread, like a sociopath. I can imagine someone walking around with that face constantly at least getting lots of strange stares, not to mention people everywhere being creeped out.

Or the brutalities of the Mongols: You never hear people moarn all those kill in Baghdad in order to make Tigris run red with blood. Or the people slaughtered/enslaved when they destroyed the central asian cultures; on the other hand you hear people being sad about said cultures being destroyed or the cultural heritage destroyed by the Mongols in the Middle East.
