Werewolf CL is trundling into Slough, and isn't going to last more than two days from now. So we should find a GM for WW CLI, which I imagine would be the last game before the Christmas special (WW CLII?).

Would the next one not be the Christmas special? Allowing a week for your game to finish and sign-ups for the next one, it would probably overlap Christmas Day.

If you do it based on when the thread was put up and when it will finish, and assume it will finish tomorrow evening, it will have been 14 days. 14 days from tomorrow is the 22nd - if CLI is just as long as CL there probably won't be a game going on Christmas Day, which isn't such a bad thing.

Though I tend not to wait too long for signups (no more than 3 days) and to extract a 10-night game from 26 is quite good. It could quite easily have been half as long.

Also, Yakman hasn't been online in a month and he was the one who bagsied the Christmas game.

This is always a good thing to aim for. However this

I've also got quite a few things I'd like to try out...
makes me a bit worried. Blancing a big game is hard enough as it is without changing too many things at once.

For a first time Big WW GM I recommend to copy the rules from a successful game and change no more than one thing. Zero is probably better than one.

I'm not trying to discourage you from hosting or anything but remember that the game is there for the players to have fun with, not for the GM to have fun with the players. Usually just being able to look behind the curtains in all the camps and see how they think is enough fun for the GM.

We mustn't stifle creativity from an untested source. Perhaps Panzer is the GM Werewolf deserves.

Either Way I tried to change some things panzer and I ended up with a game of ten people that ended in two days and a lot of criticism so watch out. Really I'd keep the changes very minimum also you need to clear them with jacob as there are things you can't do because of forum rules.

Trainwreaks are the best wreaks.
Actually, this is also true. White Daimon and Ironhead 5 - both very good GMs - made some really interesting trainwrecks of games. :p
