Why Yakman/Tamius ? are there scans we should know about ? I feel this supposed JL statement quite criptic.

Call me paranoid, but feels like a trap.

Last time i followed such a statement, i ended up participating in the lynch of a villager.

There is a JL. There are wolves. There are the unscanned who may be good or bad.

While the JL prefers to hang wolves sooner rather than later, it also likes to whittle down the unscanned so that there are fewer places for the wolves to hide. It may say "Here is a wolf, hang it", or it may say "Here are two possible suspects, hang whichever you think is the most suspicious."

Generally speaking, it won't go for the second possibility until it is well established, and the only solid evidence that Taklagarn is speaking for a well established JL is that there have been a lot of wolves lynched and not many villagers hunted recently, so check the thread before the deadline in case there are further twists.

In the meantime, snoop has been a cagey dogg, and rogering de livestock carries the death penalty, so they are a not unreasonable couple to set up, and you have to vote for one of them (or Taklagarn if you think he's a fake spokesman). Avoiding the choice is even more suspicious than an innocent getting hung on your vote.

It is of course a trap. But if Taklagarn is genuine JL, its a wolf trap. If your only real idea for the day is that you don't like kiwi, vote the opposite way to him, but get your vote off him and onto one of the suspects.

A bit of paranoia is quite healthy in this game. But I, for one, am not surprised about these names. Muttoneer has been AWOL and dead weight for half the game, and Yakman has been so wolfish he practically howled his way through the game until he disappeared on us. If I was going to have a suspect list, it'd have those two for sure. (And EL and Jacob - mostly because I got very little on them, too, so far.)

It's just that, previous JL announcement were less criptic, and more "X has been scanned as wolf". Sure hope you're right...

I am feeling uncomfortable about sedracus' vote in 671. Is the GM going to rule it invalid because it uses the original player's name rather than the sub? I'd hate for a tie/no tie to be hanging on that and at the moment it is.

Tamius hasn't voted and is only going to vote one way if he turns up. Its a bit closer than it looks.
