I dont understand your reasoning. If thats the case, then it's incredibely easy for a wolf to attempt to incriminate a villager with very little repercussions, while its impossible for the saved to be trying to make the savior look guilty.
In fact, I raised the same point as you with I believe it was joeb, in a previous game, and was told the same thing.

There is so many things with just voting the one that got away that I don't know where to start.
First of all, if a wolf is not run up at all, then any wolf would be happy to jump on it. Same thing applies in the likely case that there is two or more packs (namely Joebthegreat was in contact with a wolf pack and they did not decide to hunt him.) Then the wolfs from the other pack, even if we got a wolf would jump on it.
This makes it easy for wolfs to hide, as you find wolfs and packs from voting records by putting pressure on different people and seeing how the votes react.
Throwing all the pressure on someone a second time, does not tell us more infomation unless we know for certain that he is a wolf that managed to escape. But given that we are going for the Saved and not the Savior, you don't think that. You want to know what the Savior was doing by what role the Saved was.
What if the Saved was the Seer who had to contact his first scan to save him? It does happen and all you could be doing is making things worse for us.

Not going to hop on the Kingepyon train. I think that esemesas is a much better lynch due to the reasoning he gave for his vote.
