Excellent. Is this a recent change? The Rulez said:Hunter: Carries a loaded pistol with him at all times. He may decide to use his one shot to kill anyone he wants, or may keep his bullet to protect himself from werewolf attacks (50% chance of killing his attackers). If he manages to protect himself during an attack, he will shoot dead a Detriment (Werewolf), the attacking pack will flee in panic and he will not be killed, but will no longer have the trait.
Oh, I forgot to mention that I'm a hunter. Therefore I happened to notice this:
Excellent. Is this a recent change?
Not really. Several GM's (but certainly not all) have used it before.
It sort of makes you immortal. Baddies will not hunt you and goodies will not lynch you. And that's the reason I don't like this trait (in it's current form).
However, because there is a 50% chance that you are a baddie with the hunter trait, I personally think it makes sense to lynch you tomorrow.
In a normal game 1/3 of the players are baddie. So the chances of lynching a goodie on the first day are great.
But with the hunters divided quite equally (nowadays) between goodies and baddies it makes sense to lynch you.
Then we have a 50% chance of lynching a goodie.
I like those odds, so you will have my vote tomorrow
And if I get hunted tonight, it makes even more sense if the village will lynch you tomorrow![]()
If you take my word at face value that I'm a hunter, will you also unquestionably accept the following statement?
My role is villager.
And you know all this how exactly? How could you possibly know that Hunters are evenly divided between baddies and goodies?
Surely if I'm so powerful, and thus very useful to the village if I'm good, would it not make more sense to scan me?It sort of makes you immortal. Baddies will not hunt you and goodies will not lynch you. And that's the reason I don't like this trait (in it's current form).

You completely accept one claim, then use it as evidence to try and get me killed on the first day. Yet you flatly reject another, equally likely (in fact more likely, much more likely) claim that says its a bad idea to lynch me. Curious.AVN said:
