I'm not sure what to do about this. Chain letters never turn out true....

The last one was truthful. The first one was truthful. I've probably missed a bunch of them while I was absent, though.

Then, make a wish. If you followed the instructions in this chain letter, and if your wish is for johho888 to be lynched, then your wish will come true.

I've asked the sender how sure he is that this thing is legit. We are all but certain Johho isn't part of the pack that hunted him, and hunter wolves aren't very common.
Still. At this point I have no choice but to publish it. If this is truthful we need to get to the bottom of it sooner rather than later.
Also, despite me forwarding this (sans sender information, of course) to a small(ish) group of people several hours ago, i've seen absolutely zero activity from the people involved. That actually worries me somewhat ..

I figured that either there was already one going around or that by mentioning one, someone would make one up. Not sure how I feel about this.

Really, is there a point to me posting anymore? Sometimes I doubt it. Half the time people follow me like blind sheep, and the other half of the time they are mad at me for 'assuming' people will do anything of the sort.

It depends on how cooperative everyone is. If johho turns out to be a wolf, yay. If he turns out to be a goodie, then starting with Randakar everyone who received the letter would need to say who they received it from. We would have to work our way back through who sent the PMs to find the source. Eventually someone will say 'I didnt send that!' And we will know either the accuser or the accused sent it, and we can lynch them.

That's true. Even if he is a villager he probably doesn't have any useful traits left...

Whilst it seems pretty unlikely he was both scanned and hunted night 0, we learn more by lynching him than Falc (unless Falc is a wolf, anyway).

You obviously don't realize that whatever wolf pack pulls such a stunt can easily hunt the "originator" before it gets to that point, though.

And I have this sneaking suspicion that I'm pretty close to the source, so going public is really a way to protect myself.
If I'm too obvious a target to hunt it's more likely I'll survive this thing.

edit: I received this more than 4 hours ago, for what it's worth. So it's not exactly like the day was all but over and the matter settled when I got it.
Besides, really, I these things *should* happen close to the deadline. Or in this case, close to my bed time. The later in the day outings happen the more vote information we preserve through it.

Well Randy as you are "close to the source" aka you are the guy who received the original PM, let us know what you want to do.... Do not disclaim liability and if you want to stand behind your source - treat it as a outing with the repercussions that follow should Johho turned out to be a villager....
