It's actually two books (Westward bound and Eastward bound) but they are usually bundled together. The sad thing is that Frans G. Bengtsson only wrote those two novels as far as fiction goes. On the other hand side if he had been like Turledove we might have been sick of the same old, same old viking stories?

I never got sick of the 13 or so Flashman novels. I like long stories and don't mind a certain level of repetition, but that's just me.

Also, tonka, I'm fascinated by anyone whose interest in a book is sparked merely only the basis that it has a bell, a necklace, and a guy named Orm.

Yay doctor Normally I'd not be a fan of Ironman JLs, but we're down one half of it and it's the other half, not a disposable mouthpiece, being protected. However... esemesas was a cultist, not a werewaffle? Maybe we have got a priest still?

GM, if all wolves in a pack were dead, and then a cultist died, would the update include that he was a cultist that had become a werewolf?

And GA, don't protect the seer tonight. Protect the doctor if you know who they are, or someone you trust if you don't. Then you get to protect the seer when he wakes from his coma, giving us another day with a very public seer. Actually...

If a cultist that has no wolves left in their pack dies, they become a wolf, and it will reflect in the death update once they die.
No targeting is allowed on jpr123 today whether by day or night action. If the Doctor dies today, jpr123 dies as well.

After being promoted from apprentice to seer, I scanned and outed five wolves with five scans. My sixth scan would have been the sixth and final wolf, but the fifth wolf got me under the cover of his invisibility cloak.

we had 6 straight scanned baddies, at least one wasn't outed, however. I wanted to see what would happen.

I knew one Arsenal fan from New Jersey, or maybe Pennsylvania. One of those yankee states, anyhow. And I knew another as an undergraduate, but he was from London, so that probably doesn't count.

We've had cultists outing other cultists because they were contacted by the europriest. Europriest died... and yesterday, jpr outed Esemesas as a WOLF.
Esemesas, however, turned out to be a Cultist, NOT a wolf as the outing claimed.

JPR is currently in the enviable state of Doctor Invulnerability, so we can't touch him.

While he did lie about the role (or was incorrectly informed), he did net us a baddie (a bunch of baddies), so let's keep him alive for now.
If he's part of another pack than those he outed... Well played, sir.

Good question.
I don't think it's relevant right now however, as long as he's feeding us baddies I'm happy. Of course, if he is a fake seer that is really part of the other pack then he's probably the sharpest newbie in years and fully deserves a win.

Probably to keep the existence of the priestly scanner quiet that much longer. Or simply because he meant a generic baddie.

In any case, I'd bet he's the real seer or the mouthpiece of the real seer. If he wasn't the real one would counter it. And the other pack would have had to be truly stupid to give him all those names.

I'm sorry but I fail to see how the real seer (or the mouthpiece of the real seer) could find a cultist. It is obvious he is not one of those, the question is if he is the priest's apprentice, or simply a baddie.
