I know, but I didn't want the baddies to know that. I was hoping there might be a baddie leader who leader-lynched and vote-sniped, I planned to vote-snipe away from jpr in case of that, saving the seer and nailing the wolf that sniped.

I'm usually a pretty good sniper. I sniped to victory in my first ever Lite. But I have messed up due to my internet connection cutting out before. While esemesas is normally a good sniper, he is already on the wrong side. Not much room to snipe from there.
Lots of people are pretty good snipers. To dabble in this sort of thing, you need to be top notch.

I made it to a little after Salt Ole and the attempt on Orm's life, and then grad school stuff has mostly put a pause on reading anything I actually want to read. But I will be resuming it in the coming days.
The stuff about the bell and, especially the necklace was quite fun.
I'm still impressed with how humorous so much of it is. One almost wishes that Orm & associates had an extended series of books. I could read more of it and not get exhausted with it.

It's actually two books (Westward bound and Eastward bound) but they are usually bundled together. The sad thing is that Frans G. Bengtsson only wrote those two novels as far as fiction goes. On the other hand side if he had been like Turledove we might have been sick of the same old, same old viking stories?
