It isn't really outing yourself. Narrowly "failing" to remake a TIE actually is a quite viable baddie strategy, since it very easily can happen to goodies naturally.
Why would knowing Rovs also failed influence anything?

After the craziness of yesterday, and the two oil executives dying the night before, today moves at a more sedate pace, with two appointed victims, Hazbot and The Super Pope, being the ones to be lynched today. At the last moment, a change of heart takes place and only the latter is lynched. He had a gun in his pocket, unused. Perhaps it was for the better this loose cannon was killed, but he was no villain.

Hunter is just a trait, but if a villager has a trait like Hunter or Spy I will just call them that. TSP was a villager with the hunter trait but 'Hunter' sounds better IMHO.
