Were you really going to out a pack that turned you earlier in the game?

I didn't think you would; it seemed a ploy to avoid being turned/lynched, and a way to deny being turned if you were.

The threat was plausible enough to prevent us from hunting you earlier, though I personally saw it as unlikely.
The threat was mostly an empty one, since I'd prefer to get out without being lynched, and giving up the pack would confirm I needed to die. Though I might have tossed out the names right before being lynched. Hadn't decided and it never came up, but it seemed like a good threat, even if I wasn't committed to it.

I'm almost entirely sure that aedan wouldn't have. That would hurt his own chances of winning, for one, and it would be working against his own side, which is completely illegal and would hopefully result in an autolynch.

I actually stated this in-thread a while back, but I don't think anyone responded.

By contrast, I feel great. A few hours ago I was freaking the hell out because I thought there were only two baddies left and my defeat was imminent and I'd have to sacrifice myself so Sleepyhead could have a chance to hunt and turn you, and then Cliges contacted me. A few hours before that, I thought Sleepyhead was actually a goodie, stalling for time so I couldn't out myself. A few hours before that, I thought you were a wolf and were going to win without me.

It's been a tumultuous few days.

Must have been a relief to have received a PM along the lines of "Hey, wanna win today?".

I had a few small doubts about the authenticity of your claim, but Sleepyhead was far less convinced.

My thought about Aedan was that he was definitely more valuable alive when we could hunt him at the end of the game than turned too soon and after lynched. But I didn't think he would make that outing of the entire pack when that didn't help him, maybe I'm wrong.

It really was. It was also gratifying to know that I'd been correct about you. Of course, I had doubts, but it fit together too well.

It was also gratifying to know that I wouldn't have to write up a massive case on aedan and argue and fight for every inch in order to have a shot at winning. Thanks for saving the day, Cliges. :)

And I can understand why. He knew that I'd asked AVN if I could fish for wolves and he knew my record. He'd not seen any cultists all game.

But it was nice he came around in the end. I predicted that he'd realize he needed to confess to me because his situation couldn't get any worse.

Day 1, Night 2

A close vote ends with a tie between Gorganslayer the cursed villager (only non-VC cursed in game) and Kaisersohaib, the un-cursed VC. One council member gone. I would later forget Kaiser was dead and ask him to vote. He took it well.
Yakman, Gen. M and Cliges are awfully good sports about not turning Gorganslayer. Awfully good sports.

For their first hunt the mandatory voters go for tamius, the Priest's apprentice. They correctly interpret TSP's role as possible being that of "van Helsing or Hunter"
Audren scans Sleepyhead, this was one half of what would later double clear him.
Wagonlitz scans...I told a lie. He actually scanned Madchemist on Night 1. K-59 gets scanned night 2. I have no record of any of this except in the conversations so bear with me. both obviously appear as villagers.

Ithvan curses Aedan successfully. His compadre E_L spies on the incorruptible Batman-type figure, LatinKaiser:
You spy on LatinKaiser tonight. You can say with a reasonable degree of confidence he did not hunt during the night, and probably did not scan. You have a feeling about him though, that he is not just a normal villager.

They consider the implications:
The funky video has made it worth it. The condescending horse in it even more so.

E_L: LK could be part of the wolf pack that did not hunt tonight, or maybe a cultist?
Maybe, or he could be an apprentice or van Helsing. Lets take another look tonight and see what we get. If he out tonight that would suggest a wolf. Where if he stays put, that would suggest that he not the primary of what he is. Could be the seer's apprentice for example.

spy on LatinKaiser again
I should mention if we get a no-hunt between now and our next curse, I will strongly consider reaching out to aedan.
That could be a good idea. Keep in mind that it is possible there are other cursed players, though. Gorgan started out cursed; it's possible others did as well. Sadly, the odds of aedan getting hunted tomorrow are pretty bad.
Yea, or it could be a bless or something else. Part of the reason I said I consider it, not that I would. Still, it might be nice to reach out to him, tell him he was cursed and have him try and set up the J-L, He gets hunted by the wolves and we get in touch.

Given we know he IS a villager right now.

Although might be better to do this with Johhno. We see.

Rovsea spies on the Padre:
You see no sign of Madchemist when you make your way to his living wuarters. You can't gain access to his room. Either he is very solitary, or he was out that night.

Npstr spies on his fellow member Sleepy, and gets a glimpse of the Priest while he's at it:
"You spy on Sleepyhead (this is the night before remember). You notice several obvious, undisguised tracks around his door, but he himself does not seem to sneak out during the night. However, just as you are leaving, you notice that there is someone else visiting him. Audren! You can't get too close, but he leaves shortly after and you are unable to follow him."

Just as a goodie spy sees the Priest, a baddie spy, Hax the wolf, gets a glimpse of the High_Sorcerer while he spies on Aedan777:
"You visit Aedan last night. He seems a solitary individual, however there are two, perhaps three, pairs of footprints visible around the entrance to his door. Just as you are leaving, somewhat dissatisfied, you hear footsteps, you quickly dart for cover. You just about make out the figure of Ithvan snooping around the entrance..."

Mmmmm seems Ithvan was scanning him tonight.. or protecting him. My bet is the second option.
Ithvan could be spy or sorc as well.
Could be anything, that's true. An Aedan too. Maybe we can waste another try with Aedan in order to know something more? What do you think Hax?
He is also in the the extreme. I say we nail him.

hunt Ithvan
backup Jcan
backup Wagonlitz

I'll put up the rest of the developments in the next day.

I forgot to mention the good padre's doings. He was cycling between tamuis and RepBentley. He visisted RepBentley this night, tamius the night before. Had the order been reversed he would have baged a wolf

Almost forgot. Since there were seven council members and only 6 can fit in a convo, I decided that Kaisersohaib was the one who should be left out. I was mildly pleased at being vindicated quite early. We had a quite a bit of correspondences, but you didn't see them. I'll see about getting them posted over time.

So EL did in fact have spying powers.

But it didn't say he did. :(

Not that it was relevant anyway.

It did, If you look at my death it said the Spying in my roles.

As for why I outed myself, I felt that I was going to end up lynched anyway so I was trying to get Ithvan in touch with the wolves. Do some good for him before I ended up dead.

Lot of good that did as they went around and hunted him...

But at least we can say that one post effected this game far more then any other post in here. I did not just stir the pot, I set a bomb in it and people were going back to it to the very last day :)

It was mentioned in the update. I was quite surprised to see in the discussions of the last 24 hours that no one remembered that.
Those who had something to gain by EL being a spy didn't remember it. Others might have "conveniently" ignored it.

Btw I think this WW holds up to its title, judging by the raw postcount, and we aren't even done with the AAR.
