"Robert Edwin House, 261, President, CEO, and sole proprietor of the New Vegas Strip, industrialist and technologist, founder, President, and CEO of the multi-billion-dollar pre-War robotics and software corporation, RobCo Industries, has died.

Generally recognized by Mr. House to be mankind's only hope of long-term survival, Mr. House's passing may well sound a death knell for the entire human race.

Lost forever is his bounty of knowledge concerning human longevity, the depth and breadth of which could, as he was apt to say, "fill several text books". He was not exaggerating. Though he did not achieve his goal of functional immortality, let us not forget that he died at the age of 261. How many people do that? I mean, come on.

Also lost forever are House's singular personality, force of will, vision, and leadership ability. The probability of an equally capable figure emerging from the current human population to lead mankind to a future of equivalent quality is less than 0.000112% by objective measures too complex to detail in this obituary.

Personality and force of will: Born June 25th, 2020, House was orphaned at an early age when his parents died in a freak accident (auto gyro, lightning). Though cheated of his inheritance, House attended the prestigious Institute in Massachusetts and founded RobCo Industries on his 22nd birthday. Within five years, it was one of the most profitable corporations on Earth.

Vision: By 2065, House was certain that an atomic war would soon devastate the planet. At great personal expense, he developed technologies to ensure the structural integrity of the city of Las Vegas (as it was known at the time). On the day of the great war, 77 atomic warheads targeted the city. Mr. House defeated them all. Talk about vision!

Leadership: Mr. House survived the war, of course, and would later recruit the Three Families, negotiate the Treaty of New Vegas, and rebuild the Vegas Strip. While these achievements yielded many immediate benefits, they were all part of House's master plan to re-ignite mankind's quest for technological advancement, a plan without which the human race has nowhere to go, and nowhere to turn."

More good has come out of this guys, the baddies are on the backfoot, the goodies have the initiative I wish you luck guys and hope you win this.

Fortunately you can't help the wolves find the priest, since you can only detect the seer.

Did a quick read-through, and wow, that's really something. Never thought of that possibility when the framer rules were introduced. Really quite an entertaining result.

I also just double-checked that there are no goofy traits like innkeeper that will allow johho to survive this and lynch someone else. Good.

Apart from framer it's my rule set from The Luminaries, and I deliberately got rid of a whole bunch of traits for that - innkeeper, invisibility cloak, van Helsing, King etc. I don't like messing with the lynch unless it's reasonably close.

Oh hey, Jerman was a wolf. And with him having been run up multiple times, we should actually have some useful info on him. As I recall, CaesarCzech fit exceptionally well as a packmate of his, with Hax a second possibility.

Still fine with Sleepyhead too, but he already seems popular enough at the moment. He also has a vote on Jerman prior to the johho shenanigans of yesterday. Might also go after a Rovsea voter like Ironhide or Luftwafer; Ironhide's attempt to get Rovsea lynched since he thought he was a path liar strikes me as particularly wolfish, and he certainly did nothing to hurt Jerman either so far this game.

Interesting day yesterday. 1 wolf, 1 sorcerer, and 1 seer dead. Confirms that Jerman was the assassin who took out tamius, that a good assassin used his ability on Jerman, and that there is either one other assassin or pathological liar on the bad guys' side. (Did anyone claim to be assassin in thread? A cursory glance says no, but I might have missed something.)

First things first - there was no hunt last night, as Illiria died by assassin. Which could mean one pack set up a hunt on Illiria with no backup while the other pack used an assassin shot, or one pack could have hit a cursed/blessed villager AND shot Illiria. If the former, the pack that hunted could be a noob pack; if the latter, we might be lucky - or might have a traitor on our hands.

As for likely wolves... Well, let's start with likely villagers first. Jackson and madchemist voted Jerman pre-outing on day 3. They are therefore likely goodies, or at least less likely baddies, as they might be in another pack from Jerman - especially Jacksonian, who voted Jerman Day 2, as well. Ironhead5 was early on the Jerman train, voting him on days 1 and 2, making him a more likely goodie.

Now for possible wolves:
Still think Hax is a decent case - 2 lazy votes on days 1 and 2, and his touchy defense against my earlier post was... not impressive. The case for lynching Comm Cody was built around his comment about "avenging" k-59 (see madchemist's post accusing him), yet he completely denies that.

As I said before the game started, I don't have so much time to be active during this game as usually which means I can't analyse every single post. Have you forgotten that it's day 2?

I didn't go for Comm Cody because some comment. Where did you get that from? I found him a good day 1 lynch and when Rovsea claimed to be leader, I didn't bother to change.

Sleepyhead isn't a bad choice either; aside from Illiria's speculation, his comment about Jerman on Day 2 - without changing his vote off Ironhead - looks fairly suspicious in hindsight.

Someone is on a suicide mission.

Aedan is also a possibility. The fact that he essentially disavowed his vote on Health day 2 without actually changing his vote - after Illiria cited his post as a reason for switching to Health - might be an uncharacteristic misstep on his part.

I'm not sure why I'm the one getting the credit for Health as a candidate since Skobelev made the case on him and I just put another on him because I found Health's response to Skobelev's case to be odd. I feel like I'm being set up for something here, since my cases/votes are usually ignored, particularly this early.
