It wasn't so much you both switched, but most that you switched to the exact same guy at the exact same time. And no it wasn't in the closing seconds. It was with good time until deadline so it is quite the coincidence you did it at the same time.

Good time until deadline? Within 1 minute there is no "good time until deadline". Unless you see a lot of vote switches and counter snipes within like 10 seconds of each other.

Good time until deadline? Within 1 minute there is no "good time until deadline". Unless you see a lot of vote switches and counter snipes within like 10 seconds of each other.
A minute is 60 seconds long; a snipe takes .5 second though to be on the safe side I normally want a few seconds leeway just in case the connection bugs out. There was something like 20-30 seconds left when you two sniped simultaneously; that is loads of time.

Day 1

There is general shock after the two bodies are discovered. And many express their sentiments and well wishes to k-59 although some seemed more genuine then others. Three of the guests soon came under fire and were heavily questioned. Finally the guests agreed that Abu Bakr Al Baghdadi's promise to avenge k-59 was false and they used the knife found in Professor Yakman Plum's body to finish him off. After searching through his stuff they found that he had stolen nothing and had no motive to kill Mr. H. C., but rather he was nothing more than a snide politician, skilled at hiding his vote and true opinion.

Comm Cody the plotter villager was lynched

Night 1

The guests split up to take some time to rest and relax after a hard day. Dexander wandered off to have a few drinks at the bar to drown his sorrows after losing his friend Al Baghdadi. A few drinks in a stranger joined him and began pushing him to drink more and more. The staff couldn't remember the stranger's face and said that after Dexander passed out the stranger took him away so that he could "sleep it off". Dexander was found later that night by the staff, drowned in one of the bath tubs. They found nothing of note on him other then a flask of whiskey and an old AA chip.

Dexander the distiller villager was hunted

Slick move by Rovsea, claiming leader like that. I took a quick look at the rules, which are very far from the ten commandments by the way, and it seems leaders can actually save themselves from lynches here. Now Rovsea reminds me very much of Jeb Bush if I can say so myself. And we all know that America is hungry for another leader from that talented family!

Who says it was just a claim? I simply didn't have to use it this time around.

Interesting that the rules allows the leader to save himself; any reason why you chose that happycats? I thought it was general opinion that was a bad thing; at least you haven't included the king.

The percentage of votes restriction does most of the work to stop it spoiling the game, given there's no king making. Although I guess it could lead to an odd situation if it's two against one leader at the end of the game.

Right. So the big thing of note that I can see from yesterday is CaesarCzech's decision to put Cody up by two votes when there were many other options at or near the status of front-runner; could very easily be semi-protective of someone in that mess. Hax is also of some interest for pushing Cody into the lead over other as-yet-indeterminate possible choices. Not much else to work with yet.

hmmm. Not a whole lot to go on here. Nothing in the voting really sticks out to me besides MC's point on Caesar, but honestly I doubt that he had any wolfish tendencies, sounds much more like him being clueless. That's also why I'm a little hesitant to vote Jerman for his try to hard posts, but that's honestly the best case I can come up with. And while Rovsea has been acting a little weird (claiming leader and immediately jumping on the vote for Jerman) I'm not convinced that his case is better than Jerman's

I defy you to point out how claiming Leader and giving Jerman his second vote have been "weird" for me.

Claiming the leader trait was just weird, never seen it before. Not wolfish as I said, just a bit peculiar. And it wasn't just that it was the 2nd vote, it was how immediate you jumped on the idea. I want to say that I don't think your the best candidate at all, I'm just noting my observations

If I feel like claiming a trait gives me a better chance of achieving my goals, I will do so. For instance, I tried to get the wolves to surrender in a recent Lite by backing up Tonka and claiming I was seer. In this case it also happened to be true, but that doesn't mean that me claiming to have the leader trait didn't give me more possibilities.

As far as the quickly moving onto Jerman, well, you should know by now that I really do like to apply early pressure, and running players up, especially when you actually have a couple sentences that could, loosely, be considered fishy, is a good way to do that (at least for Day 1).

Why is it we have this conversation every single game. In almost every game on day 1 a tie is made some time off from deadline and said tie is almost always broken at or before deadline and yet for some reason every game people need to say why do we have a tie? We have a tie to see who breaks the said tie or to see if someone tries to keep the tie.

It is amusing, isn't it?

Here's a tip for the new players: asking why there's a TIE is silly. TIEs are the best way to provide as much information as possible by forcing players to make meaningful choices. Not making a TIE at some point in the day (barring exceptional circumstances like an outing, a wolf who made a dumb mistake, or good analysis pointing to an overwhelmingly likely wolf) is terrible village play. A much, much better question to ask is "why am I in the TIE?", and propose some specific alternative, preferably supported by good reasons when feasible.

I'm a leader, so I seriously doubt that I will be lynched today.

Interesting to see a trait-claim this early. I'd be surprised if that isn't true, not that having said trait has any real bearing on your allegiance.

Interesting how both Jerman and Rovs chose Cody and sniped within seconds of each other... Coordinated?

Unlikely, I'd guess.

A minute is 60 seconds long; a snipe takes .5 second though to be on the safe side I normally want a few seconds leeway just in case the connection bugs out. There was something like 20-30 seconds left when you two sniped simultaneously; that is loads of time.

I think most people don't worry about that sort of thing on day 1. I expect most players to err on the side of getting their vote in before deadline rather than missing it, and a minute to deadline is a good time for a self-saving snipe, especially early in the game when ties are generally deemed undesirable and unlikely to be strictly enforced.

Fascinating. Granted that Caesar doing something wolfish isn't necessarily out-of-character even when he is a villager, but what precisely makes you doubt the likelihood that he's a wolf?
