I have received a really disturbing PM today and I'll vote based on that

I'm not sure if I'm being manipulated or genuinely taken care of. Either way the scares are real.

If they don't turn up as a baddie then you'll give us the name of your contact and lynch your contact. There's no SA in the game so unless a sorc got very lucky and hit a priest or seer then our scanners aren't in trouble if we follow your pm but you need to give us something more than "just vote how I vote".

What's a SA?

Spiritually attuned. It's a role that can sense when it's been scanned. And actually, it does exist in this game, in a nastier form than usual.

Unreadable (Scrambler):They keep the same poker face all night, and they know it. The player possessing this trait knows about having this trait, but cannot reveal it via PM or in the thread. Their role will show up in the opposite alignment of what role/alignment they possess. Goodies will show up as baddies to any scanner, while baddies show up as goodies. They will be informed on the next morning if somebody scanned them during the prior night, and have a 50% chance of discovering the name of the scanner who pinged them.

What's a SA?

Spiritually attuned. It's someone who is told when they are scanned during the night. They have a chance of getting no other info, the role of the scanner, or the role and the name of the scanner. A spiritually attuned baddie can be bad news for the village, since if the priest/seer scans him and he gets a name then they would be in serious danger, especially if they don't have a guardian angel or doctor to protect them from the hunt.

And shoot, I forgot about that role. I just made a quick scan to see if SA was in the rules and didn't see it and thought we were safe. So okay, we do have to worry about baddies getting the name of scanners.

In this game, yes. Although the scrambler isn't a usual role and in this game it serves the same purpose as the SA, but it's even worse. It means we're going to get goodies wrongly scanned as baddies and baddies wrongly scanned as goodies.

Well then, I'll tell you what I told mr. Cliges : If either person (besides me of course) that has to do with the PM dies tonight, I'll have a sure target for tomorrow. I don't have much to go on just yet, and I agree that only one vote per day is killing a lot of this game. Placeholder votes matter a lot. Right now I am just going to hop on the old bandwagon.
