I'm glad OlausPetrus isn't playing in this game, because that's a pretty convincing crovaxian slip right there. Olaus Petrus, have you seen this?

I was considering not posting this, but I can not possibly see how the Falc impersonator is a goodie. So here goes;

Hax studies computer engineering at Chalmers, in Gothenburg.

And the impersonation is something Hax might do so I guess we have found our Falc impersonator.

Since the impersonation wasn't on the forum I don't see any reason to call in mods and I don't even think it would call for a WW ban. Lying on IRC is like lying in the thread, it's what we do to win the game and it goes for goodies as well as baddies.

The interesting thing is why would Hax try to get Falc lynched? Hax himself wasn't himself in any particular danger, was he? He could have tried to save a packmate (there was a 4-way TIE round about that time with Falc, DG and two others EDIT: Cymsdale and Citizen1oo1).

Or he could have info that Falc was a baddie (he was priest cleared so him being seer scanned isn't too unlikely, he could also have been "passed a note" with info from a restless guy) and thought this was a clever way to out him. But why not do a straight outing to get the JL going? We haven't lost any protectors yet, have we? Maybe if he just got an anonomous note he didn't want to stick his head out for it?

I'd really like Hax' comment on the whole story.

As for skynet the scout. If I read the rules correctly he must be sitting on a pile of information by now. But a pile of very hard to analyze information.

Scout: A scout can examine the footprints in the morning mud and know who was targeted for nightly actions. He will not know what actions, or who performed the actions, but he will receive a list of all the players who had been targeted the previous night.

EDIT2: Skynet, we really need your list for the no-kill night(s) to who might have been turned.

I have once played a WW game where the GM thought it would be really funny not to make anyone a wolf. He picked the first hunt and after that the lynched person decided who would be hunted. How long will we go on without seeing a baddy before we consider this possibility here?

I think that the chances of I5 (of all people) doing that, especially in a game where he said that he wants to revive WW, are pretty slim.

I am not advocating any particular strategy on this exact game. I did say on average. :happy:

The average game actually has 50 pages or less; the average game probably is closer to 30 or 35 pages. This is an extreme outlier and comes from the amount of players. The only game in the last many years which compares is last council with 53 players; if you don't have a player number of that scale you won't get this insane spam levels.

Actually, I think the average is closer to 70 pages than it is to 35 pages.

It appears I was mistaken then. My point still stands that this is an extreme outlier though. And remember those 50 pages are including post game discussions.

2)Tamius, your response sums up to: "well tought luck, but its you not me" Cant say I blame you, we have not caught any wolfs yet, making this a bit difficult.
3)Skynet - no you have not just misread the rules - what you did was you ASSUmed that I was bad, and was just looking for a confirmation: You also still have no explained to the village how you read the report to come up with me as being evil...
4)Al-Aziz - I will be honest with you - I have no clue what you are saying - I think it is something along the lines of: "Split if you are so good, why havent you lynched any wolfs yet", but again I am not sure.... Once you come back from your trip, please explain how you would go about finidngs wolfs, because ( i know this is a bit meta, but), all I know about you is that you do not hesitate to vote packmates.... thats it...
5)People voting skynet - ummm I am not suyre how I started this run-up on him..... Pros and cons of lynching him : Pro - he is a noobie, that can be hoddwinked by a clever wolf. Pro: he can be cursed, and now that the wolfs know he has a usefull trait will go after him... Con: he has a useful trait....
6)Hax - umm I have no doubt he pulled this off, unless THE_HEAD is lying, but: a)He is priest scanned, and by now probably seer scanned as well - a double cleared goodies are not the best lynch candidates. b)He keeps being run up again and again: tunnel vision is not our friend...
7)Possible candidates for today in my view: maybe someone new? I mentioned Johho yesterday, or oestelos for the possible crovax? Neither of them were run up.....

Need to think.
