That was not implying I was unsure how it worked. I read the rules.

But they don't work that way, so obviously you didn't read them very well. Or if they DO work that way, then you still have van Helsing. One of the two.

Seriously, I have no feud with you, that's all in your head. I happen to think you're a baddie because of your reactions this game though, and my vote today is because of that, not some fantastical desire to drive you away from Werewolf.

I don't know what's so confusing here.

Dutchguy used points to buy van helsing and brutal. When I robbed him, he was downgraded to a villager and lost brutal (I'm not sure if my blessed was stolen too or if I had that initially, it's kinda irrelevant anyway). Van Helsing role went poof. Whoops.

Robbery steals the traits, the role is dropped entirely into the void. So:

* Cymsdale has robber
* Dutchguy has Van Helsing and Brutal
* Cymsdale steals Brutal
* Dutchguy demoted to Villager/Cultist, loses Van Helsing
* Cymsdale is hunted
* Cymsdale becomes Dutchguy (Villager/Cultist, no special role, no traits)

No, I thought that too earlier but reread of the rules (which I quoted) says that traits go to robber, special role is demoted to villager/cultist.

I think subs get forwarded the role pm from the original player, so yes. That way the new player might be able to get into the mind of their previous self.
