I'm still undecided whether the promised reward for winning is a boon or bane. If some of the current leaders express their wish to have it then by all means I think they deserve it. If not, they can pass the burden to some other by saying they want the cup taken from them.

There are other, more subtle ways money corrupts government officials after they have risen into positions of power, though. Paid lobbying is one. Corporations giving ex-politicians cozy positions on their boards after they retire is another.

I guess expecting the wolves to be gentlemanly and not hunt the vote winner immediately is too much to ask?

There's always that. At least this version of thief won't apparently kill the victim and steal his role as well as traits so there's that. Perhaps the wolves will spare the certain victim of coming theft?

marty it is fine and fun to have a price for sham voting, but firstly keep it secret and secondly keep it to something like in the last big---i.e. spiritually attuned. Now the sham voting has turned into 'who will be the night 1 hunt.'
