"After spending so much time on Buffy, you figure the logical step is to
check out her paramour, Mayor Wilkins. You wait until late at night, then slip out towards his room. Just as you get near his room, you come upon Rovsea coming the other direction. What was he doing there? Were you the last person to see him alive? He appears worried by what was on his mind, rightly so, in hindsight. You stake out randakar's room, but he doesn't appear to be in. Someone else is, though - Winston Churchill! After he leaves, you follow him. After a good 20 minutes of walking behind him, randakar appears from view. Humancalculator gasps, as if finally realising something, then disappears.
Randakar hears the noise, and you duck behind a bust of Frederick the Great as he looks your way. You hear the sound of a weapon being drawn, however randakar runs away. You judge it wise not to pursue him. Instead you try and find your bearings, as you have no idea where you are."

"Your target for tonight's nocturnal investigation is Incitatus(Rovsea-spying thief). You stake out the corridor where he sleeps for the night. Hours go by without anything happening, not a sound, not a bathroom trip. Just as you are about to give it up as a lost cause, you hear the bed creak, and footsteps moving towards the door. You quickly hide, just before Incitatus leaves his room, dressed not in his usual bathrobe, but instead all in black. You follow him through unfamiliar rooms and staircases, you turn a corner and find yourself in front of a large door, clearly leading to some kind of hallway, although not one you remember being used during the day.
The large doors open, long enough for you to hear several people talking in low voices, and who should walk out but Niccolo Machiavelli? (LatinKaiser) He turns to his left and goes down a different route. He appears not to have seen you. In the heat of the moment you forgot momentarily where Incitatus went, you try to search him out but you have no such luck. He seemed to vanish into thin air."

You hear Alxeu's voice in there also. After he leaves he returns to his bed and doesn't leave it until morning."

"You tail Thomas Paine Possessing the Ghost of Ayn Rand after he finishes dinner. He seems very sad, almost as if in mourning. After spending some time in his room, he leaves. You follow, and it ends up taking you to your own room, which he manages to enter. You are taken aback, and leave for a while to avoid being caught. When you return, you see no sign of him."

"You spy on Jaden Smith. You manage to break into his room while he disappears, for what seems to be a toilet break, although a lengthy one. When in there, you noticed a large, sturdily reinforced steel case, which is obviously purpose-built so that no-one else can see its contents. You try, but it quickly becomes apparent nothing short of an explosion would open it. Nothing else catches your interest, although you didn't have time to look thoroughly."

"You tail Josip Stalin, after the day's lynching is completed. He leads you not to his room, but to a dungeon of some kind, where he begins a strange kind of ritual. You hear the smell and sound of potions bubbling, incantations uttered, and you find yourself wondering: "What the FUCK is going on?" You leave, quickly, as Josip seems quick on his feet."

"You spy on Sherlock Holmes, tonight. As is his wont, he spends most of the day drinking and taking opium, and is therefore in a great stupor when he goes to bed. After correctly deducing that a passing maid used to work as a greengrocer in Danzig from the colour of her handkerchief, he stumbles into his room. You slip in, as he is too incapacitated to notice. A quick scan of the room reveals nothing. There may be more things concealed behind his bed, or in his drawers for all you know, but you cannot investigate without drawing his remaining attention. You check up on him at regular intervals throughout the night, and you don't see any evidence of him waking, until late morning."

Despite his jovial nature, he seemed very tired today, and invites no conversation as he heads to bed, seemingly in a grouchy manner. You decide prudence is the better part of valour and leave his room alone for the night."

"You follow Aristotle about the day. You play cards with him. You get to know him. Apparently he's a nice family man. Some say he hits the whisky a little too hard, but hey, that's none of your business. He seems very casual about everything, does Aristotle. Seems to know his place and be content with it. He actually invites you to his room to show you his collection of his scientific writings, for you to critique. You haven't the heart to tell him it's all complete bullshit. Looking around, you see a messy room, fully of scribblings, papers, artefacts, but nothing too untoward. After a long discussion, you eventually take your leave. You ask him if you'll talk to him again tomorrow, and he hesitates, then says "...yes.". Far as you can tell, he sleeps soundly for the night, but you go to bed around 3, increasingly tired by burning the candle at both ends for a fortnight, so who can say?"
