I wouldn't mind it one bit if sign ups closed and the game started right about now.
Give the man a little time to work out his ruleset.
But yeah, apart from that .. I wouldn't mind either.
I've never played with this role before. How does it work, exactly?
The spy sends in a scan order and gets a bit of RP describing about that person and possibly about what that person was doing that night. A good spy report will be a tad on the ambiguous side but will contain clues. Less good spy reports (or multiple reports on the same person) can basically clear or condemn a person.
Cool. I liked the GC last time around.
I've always like that from the first game it showed up.
Hmm, that's a very interesting one. I think it's pretty good, and less unbalanced than the high-sorc was last game (because whichever pack found the high sorc first had a huge advantage because they could get the whole curse list), even though the role seemed like it was really awesome last time around. I do think there needs to be some sort of full-time evil scanner; maybe make a traditional sorc and make the lynch protector a separate role?
He's not just a lynch protector, but really a kind of death immunity provider. That power can be insanely powerful for team wolf as well, if used right.
The biggest problem though is that you risk having some really boring days; Imagine that order being used on a wolf doing a false outing on day 1. That means: Bandwagon on day 1, bandwagon on the wolf on day 2, bandwagon on the wolf *again* on day 3. And depending on how this interacts with brutals and hunter powers it might cause hunters to waste their ability as well, removing the option for the village to just have somebody shoot him on day 3.
I would be really careful with this role. Not sure if I like it much as-is.
I have no problem with it. Not sure if I prefer the kind that kills people and takes their role or a simple trait-robber. Both are OK with me.
Considering how that role got used in the Alliance of Magicians I can say it definitely has the potential to spice things up a bit.
Though I don't like people role-switching much in general.

The page exists in Dutch only, maybe for the better.
A
porn king? .. seriously. You don't make this stuff up.
Fixed that for you.
