The Twelfth, and Final Day

Thirty-nine of you started off on the case. However, time and the insidious nature of the human condition has whittled your number down to none but four: Johnny English, the irrepressible top agent from MI5; Billy Costigan, the street-wise Boston kid with experience in infiltrating the mob; Detective Lieutenant Frank Drebin, the cynical hard-edged cop who's seen it all; and last but not least, all the way from the Sûreté in Paris, the world-famous Chief Inspector Jacques Clouseau, known for his improbable feats of deduction.
With such four master logicians left, there is no easy decision on who to make dance the hemp fandango. Clouseau because of his arrogance? English because of his devastating sarcasm? Costigan for his non-rhoticity, or Drebin for being so aloof?
The choice is tough, so, as you have done so many times before, you decide to lynch not one but two of your number, thinking it will increase your chances of finding the last mole. And yes, there only is one left, although reading back through these old case files I admit I had great pleasure watching all of you stumble desperately around believing each and every one of you was the only good man left in the hotel, even the mole thought he was amongst fellow criminals almost exclusively...but I digress. In the end, the choice is quite clear, you decide to lynch the player who hadn't been present for most of the game, and the player who single-handedly killed a mole from the Winter Hill Gang, whom you were trying to eliminate. The second choice...well, a strange one, to put it mildly. And as it turned out, Johnny English (Leksu) was indeed a normal police officer, as you inspect his dead body. You notice also a camera, indicating he indeed had been moonlighting during the night as a reporter, and this was how he had stumbled upon the nefarious crime of Adrian Monk, and a hole in his bullet-proof vest indicated the mob had tried to kill him before that week, but failed to do so.
Dejected, you then turn to inspect the body of Billy Costigan, despairingly assuming you will find the same innocence in him...
...but no! Lifting up his sleeve, you see a celtic tattoo, and documents that prove that Billy Costigan (Nautilu) was a member of the Winter Hill Gang!

And now, only two of you remain. You freeze for a moment, realising that as the good cop you have lost valuable seconds, and that by now the last remaining mole has surely pulled his gun on you. But the moment never comes. You look around and catch the same expression in his face as he does in yours. And it was then that you knew, that the ordeal was over. Both Drebin (Najs) and Clouseau (Gen. Skobelev) were, as it turns out, Normal Officers.
The next day you both turn up for debriefing at the police station. Your superintendent tells you that both the Winter Hill Gang and the Triads have been crushed, their leading members dead or behind bars, the lower scum dispersed like rats on a sinking ship. The drugs shipment never came; you were able to locate the rogue ship miles offshore, and with the help of the coastguard quickly commandeered the vessel.

The two surviving officers were given the Freedom of Boston, and word is the President himself wants to meet with them. But neither Drebin nor Clouseau were ever the type to stand on ceremony. As soon as the fuss died down they went their separate ways, disappeared into the night.

It's said Drebin is somewhere in the Midwest right now, keeping suburban homes safe from poor people and doing battle with the forces of evil.

As for Clouseau?

...heh, well, no-one ever could manage to track down that master of disguise. Go into the headquarters of any intelligence agency in the world, ask for his whereabouts and you'll get a dozen different answers, each pet theory crazier than the last. Some say he was spotted in Chile, fighting llamas for money while trying to break open a llama smuggling ring.
Others will tell you he's on holidays on the French Riviera, bedevilling the heart of any woman who casts eyes on him. But criminals beware, Clouseau is ever casting his eyes on you.

In truth, no-one knows where they are. No, not even I.

But I do know one thing. Wherever they are, wherever they go, no crime will go unpunished, no sultry woman unravished, no mystery un-mystrified.
For they are everywhere, and they are nowhere.

They are Drebin and Clouseau.

Esteemed members of the OT Games Forum, thank you all very much for playing in my game. It has been an honour, and a fantastic experience. I apologise for any errors I may have made in this game, and hopefully you will forgive that as down to inexperience. You may now all discuss the game (although at this late hour I seem to be the only one up!) and I hope to have the first part of my GM AAR up tomorrow.
Thank you!

Okay, I'm gonna be honest, it was more extreme laziness than inexperience. There were several times I deleted orders moments after receiving and had to ask players, the rules were kinda all over the place and my inbox filled up more times than it should have.
Overall, though, I don't think I actually made any errors which actively changed the course of the game, except for that update, but which I corrected anyway. I was quite lucky in that respect. :)
And reis, you better frickin' play in my next game!

Ah yes. In case anyone is wondering, on the very first day snoopdogg made the eternal mistake of confusing me with EUROO7, and sent the entire pack's name to him.
EURO was extremely chivalrous about the whole matter, and decided not to pass on the rest of the pack to anyone else. He gave snoopdogg's name to OY I believe, and then snoopdogg, realising his days were numbered, went for a random outing on The Super Pope, and sent in the hunt order on EURO, who took it like a man, and through no fault of his own was unable to sub back in.
And in actual fact, although both were rivals, they were not rivals of each other. Snoopdogg's rival was tonkatoy5, who the pack decided not to hunt after they had scanned him as having one-eye open. Although snoopdogg nearly fell for my trap before his packmates warned him about it. As for 'ol Tonka, he lived happily onwards, despite people constantly saying wolf rivals wouldn't work, until Nautilu v1 shot him - why he did so, I don't exactly know, but I'm sure he had his reasons.

I can actually still interpret this correctly. Marty, you should force him to drop all i's as well.

I don't think we deliberately targeted your pack (of course, I don't know what the plans were once I went down. We only had Vain/nautilu left and Eternaly_Lost, and I'm not sure whether they were in contact or not). I think it was just bad luck. Especially my hunt order on Steed.

Marty-how did I come to witness a hunt that didn't occur? That was most lenient.
The rules didn't explicitly say either way, so I went the unconventional route. The wolves still technically hunted, they just didn't kill their target. In thematic terms, they left their houses, morphed into werewolves and went into the village with the intent of killing someone, and did attack that person, they just didn't manage to finish him off. This is not how most GMs would interpret it, but as it is not technically against the rules as quoted on the front page, fuck it. I didn't think the usual way made much sense anyway, thematically. The werewolves still attacked someone, why does that person living or not impact whether or not a witness would glimpse one of the wolves? If they didn't send in a hunt order, it would make sense not to give a witness result, but not in this case as the wolves hunted just like any other night.
